I have to admit that when I was referred to PawnAmerica by a top tier retailer I was quite hesitant. Probably like a lot of people, I already had my own preconceived notions of pawn shops and low end collateral loans. They still do that aspect of the business, but with respect and without guilt shaming. Most items for sale are actually purchased outright, so you don't need to feel any sense of guilt when shopping here. First, the store was beautifully laid out and spotless, with welcoming and polite staff. Second, the manager Brian was extremely accommodating and took his time doing his due diligence to provide me with the best offer possible - showing me he actually cared about me and not only the biggest profit possible which is the perfect way to generate repeat business. I hope to continue doing business here and very highly recommend not selling any items you are looking to part with, particularly if it is something expensive, before getting an offer from here first. The showroom itself had a huge mix of new and slightly used products and should be every gift giver's, smart shopper's and item seller's first stop. From the wide range of tools to consumer electronics, gaming systems, home theater systems to musical equipment, coins, sports collectibles and more - I was thoroughly amazed. My biggest surprise was the incredible selection of jewelry with gold, diamonds and even Rolex watch selections. Ranging from beautiful yet simple to those 'wow' higher end pieces. Definitely someting to fit everyone's budget. With school semesters starting, Christmas coming up followed by Valentine's Day (did I mention the jewelry) and tax refund season shortly after this place is a must stop for getting more amazing deals on items you never thought could fit within your budget. If you are personally in need of some retail therapy or are looking to buy something specific, check here first. Plus they have a nicely designed website with items listed from other stores as well, so you don't you even have to necessary leave your home when shopping for the best deal. Before purchasing anything stop in or at least check out their website, you will definitely not be disappointed! We went in 2 days ago and bought a ring, I wore it for a day and it started to hurt my finger, we brought it back in and they happily returned it, cash back. They politely ask if I want to look for something else, I did look, unfortunately the same jewelry was in the case from a few days ago. I don't understand why they are not willing to negotiate on new items. Big deal its new, still used, I bought a ring from Pawn america in Fridley and just to see what they would offer, I bought it from Pawn america and asked at another store what they would pay for it, they said 160, well I bought it from you for 450, so don't tell me you don't have a huge mark up, but if someone offers you a good price on a new item, it would be nice if your stores would be reasonable and work with new items, you still make money.

By far my favorite pawn shop I go to. I’ve been going here for a few years now and ever since my first day, I’ve had nothing but a positive experience. Since Covid I’ve worked with one of the store manager Cassie with all of my purchases. I come in and we talk about pretty much whatever comes to mind. The prices are reasonable and the entire team works with you to help get you the most bang for your buck. Today I came in with some products to sell and Cassie and Collin M both assisted me and was able to get me exactly what I was hoping to get for what I was selling. I couldn’t ask for a better team to assist me with my purchases. What tops it off is the fact I can be gone for a year and when I come back they all still remember me by name and we can chat like we’ve been friends for years. I highly recommend this location.
