Prepare for a long and detailed review! Pros: GREAT staff that really care about your comfort and time during your stay. They know the area really well too, so if you need any recommendations for food or stuff to do, just ask them. We were able to check in an hour early at no extra charge! Rooms were ready and thoroughly cleaned. My mom has owned a cleaning business for over 20 years and she was very happy with the cleanliness. Location. Not on the beach but it's a really short 1 minute walk. The USS Lexington and lit up bridge at night look awesome from the beach. Their rooms are super comfy with nice mattresses, bedding, and down pillows. The bathrooms have tile flooring, double vanity sinks with a large counter (a plus for girls like me getting prepared for a beach wedding or other big event), and big shower area. They provide Bath & Bodyworks soaps and shampoo (tiny bottles but still a plus!). Plenty of towels provided. Water was heated almost instantly. Something small -- they provide comfy desk chairs. Great for me when I had some studying to do before bed. Cons: No elevator. Pack light or ask staff for help if needed. No continental breakfast. They do provide coffee in your room though. Other notes: A microwave, refrigerator, and cable tv are provided in rooms. They have an ice machine and vending machine. They have small toiletries to buy near the front desk. Low lighting in rooms provided by lamps. Overall, I loved my stay, and I would definitely stay again. Thank you Hotel De Ville!

4-14-2024: Please read before booking THEY HAVE BED BUGS. My husband and I checked into this super cute beach front hotel, went to the beach then the top rank boxing event. Got back to the hotel around midnight to get some sleep then head back to Houston in the morning. SMH bruh, I woke up around 2:15am with my arm swollen and face itchy. I woke my husband up and asked if he was itching and we took our phones to look behind the bed and there they were, packed with blood. I’m so disgusted and want my refund. We left the hotel less than 30 mins later and we are so exhausted. The part that messed with me the most is them knowing and allowing us to have the room anyway. There’s no way you care about your guest. Now we are having to buy expensive bed bug laundry detergent and spray so it’s not transferred into my home. Dude I’m like livid. There’s no I’m sorrys because you knew! We wanted to support a small business and be by the beach. This hotel was a complete mistake 4-15-2024 Update: it’s now 8:46am and half of my face is completely swollen. I took Benadryl around 7am so hopefully it goes down and I don’t have to go to the hospital. My husband didn’t get bit as much as I did. Every time I look at my face I feel like some type of offering or something. Like they just sat around me and just feasted. I called Booking dot com because something just told me not to trust them, it was weird that even if the refund was getting sent to booking dot com, I would have gotten something about a refund. I gave them a call and they stated "we aren't on the refund board" they created a case and plan on contacting the property 4-16-2024: I contacted the property again and received no response. They are attempting to keep my money after they said I'll be getting a refund. Also by today the swelling on my face and arms went completely down and I didn't need to go to the hospital. The money spent on this hotel is now being spent on BED BUG spray to make sure it's not transferred to my home. AVOID THIS HOTEL 4-18-2024: they cut all communication with me, so I went through booking dot com for my refund 4-29-2024: waited to post until I got my refund

Nice hotel. Be prepared to climb! Haha. No elevator here. At least not one that we could find. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs up tonour room every day. Sometimes a couple times a day. Which wouldn't be too bad if you don't have little kids. Our little guy is only 2 and had a hard time going up or down on his own so we usually had to carry him along with whatever else we had with us to go down to the beach. The other thing I would say is only a downfall if you have little ones, is that there was no bathtub, and the water ressure was really high so he hated that! And it made it really hard to get the sand washed off of him lol. Also, they have fire safety doors so even if we locked the door he could open it and get out. I know all of this sounds negative, but it really was a nice hotel. Just not with a little toddler. Our room had full windows on the southside so we had a great view of the beach. Though, I will also say that the windows didn't seem like they were made of glass... maybe they were though idk. I just know they had a dingy-ness to them and scratches so it wasn't exactly a crystal clear view. Still nice though. There are restaurants very close by and the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium are like 5 mins away. We went to both and loved them! Overall I would recommend this hotel to those of you without small children. Or at least get a room on the bottom floor and ask if they have any rooms with bathtubs 😉

The room was great! AC was amazingly cold! Shower was as good as the review that talked about it! Location was the best! Loved that Fajitaville was directly behind the hotel and on the beach. Great hangout! One major concern. After I checked in I was hanging out getting some rest. After a bit, my room door opened! A man was looking at me and I was looking at him. We both walked down to the office to figure out how he got in MY room. Desk person said it was a mistake in the system. He ended up being my neighbor. Very unnerving occurrence. My bad on not bolting my door. Desk person stated this has happened previously except the system said the room was cleaned and it wasn’t. Very different situation. As a female traveler with my daughter it gave me pause for concern, but all was well. BOLT YOUR DOOR! And hopefully their “system” gets fixed… No elevator, lots of stairs, no pool, great room, great location!

Well I had wrote a long lengthy review from My other account, but it didn't show up I guess!! My husband , my 2rd old and myself booked this hotel for a week trip. Amazing choice. The location is incredible, the service that not only the owner but the entire staff provided was over the top and definitely made our stay alot better. Our room was a newer remodeled one and it was beautiful. We got a ocean view and our room looked right over the restaurant on to the beach. Honestly the entirety of corpus Christi was amazing. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The house keepers were always smiling and extremely nice-make sure to show them some love for the extra work they do to keep the rooms sooo clean!! We have decided to make this into a traditional vacation and will be back soon. Thank you again for making our first trip as a family amazing!! April W

Nice little Hotel overlooking the waves and Beach Walk, the rooms are remodeled and look very modern. We stayed 3 days longer than planned and watched them finish up the pool installation, The new owners have put the time and money to make this a great place to stay. Lots of great dinning within walking distance, if you like Palm trees, you will love it there.
