Covington First United Methodist Church — Attraction in Covington

These amazing people came to do thousands of dollars worth of effort for my severely trashed and neglected home and property, over a weeks time. They didn't know that I'm a Christian, they didn't know me at all. The pastor led these faithful men to clean my yard, and 2 dumpsters filled quickly with the trash that my family had thrown into the yard. It was hot, filthy work, and they worked long with no complaint against the trash they encountered. I'll never be able to express my gratitude to these men and their families. I've seen the church DOING this service, this amazing display of the CHUCH IN ACTION, and grateful beyond description to these men, this church. As long as I live, I'll be praying for this church, "thank you all" from my heart!!!...

WAITED IN LINE FOR OVER 3 1/2 HOURS AND WHEN WE FINALLY GOT TO PARKING LOT THE LADY PUT THE CONES UP AND SAID THAT HER VOLUNTEERS WERE THERE SINCE 8:30 AM AND WERE TIRED. 👌 BUT WHEN YOU KNEW YOU ONLY HAD 300 NUMBERS YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD EVERYONE ELSE AT 301 AND BEYOND THE SITUATION YEAH YOU EXPLAINED THAT AFTER 3 1/2 HOURS AND EVEN SAID THAT WE COULD STAY OR LEAVE. WE STAYED AND RECEIVED NOTHING AND WONDER WHY PEOPLE DON'T COME TO CHURCH BUILDING. PRAISING GOD THAT WE ARE THE CHURCH. GET A BETTER SYSTEM AND MAYBE THIS WON'T...
