I was going to hold off leaving a review until noticing in similar reviews, this is a common occurrence in how the owner handles things. Came in and the signs pictured were what i was lead to believe was the cost of the rhinestone “Bitten” shirts cause it was plastered everywhere on the table. When i went to check out she told me the price was $100. (After i had her cut the neck, cause she offered of one of the shirts) and after having talked to her for a while before the purchase and hearing the price had happened and things are going good, and my friend was still talking and chatting it up with her, honestly felt like I was in an awkward position and didn't know what to say (kind of in shock too, and not a confrontational person, I didn’t know what to say and paid) I probably about five minutes later after walking out Felt duped and upset so I went back And asked her about the price Because of what was advertised on the table and no where did it say $48 or so dollars. She tried telling me it was on the table, but even she couldn’t find the sign and I told her it was false advertising and if I could return one of the shirts, Get a discount, Or even Of the advertised price. She offered To exchange the one shirt That wasn’t cut for a different one with out the rhinestones. But she persisted to tell me It’s common sense and basically I was the stupid one for assuming the cost was what was advertised. Then she realized the sign had been flipped around And the price for the “diamond”shirts The backside of the sign hidden- And acted as though I turned it around, saying “I don’t know how it got turned around. It was the right direction earlier” But just kept reiterating how i lack common sense, And when I told her, I didn’t appreciate the way she spoke to me when I just was trying to explain why I was upset with the situation calmly, She just was continuously rude and insulting with no apology. Genuinely disappointed as I have shopped here before and always love the store, But unfortunately, will not be giving her my business...

I have spent a lot of money at this boutique between myself and two daughters. I purchased a gift certificate among other items a few days before Christmas. Two days after opening presents I realized that one of my girls did not find her GC. I called right away to explain to an employee what happened and she said to send my daughter in with the receipt and it would not be a problem. She drove home from college to use her GC and when the clerk called the owner she said that she would not let her use it until she returned home from vaca and research to insure that it had not been used. I do understand this policy however, it would have saved my kid time and gas if her employee had been aware of THIER policy. When I called the owner she was extremely rude and condescending while talking over me during my explanation. She also stated that she had never heard of anyone losing a GC in all her years of business and all but accused me of trying to get something for nothing. The very rude owner finally gave a store credit. My child is unable to return home every weekend and finally made it by there last sat, she had a balance on her card and was told that she must use it by 2/15. After talking to some friends and clients I have learned that she is notorious for being rude. Covington is a small town with lots of cute shops and news travels fast. I would strongly recommend that you hone your customers service NO skills. It will bode well for you to be nice. Check out Rustic Flair.....cute clothing and jewelry with awesome...

I was just in the store, excited about a deal on a cute sweater! I looked at the price after I paid and realized it rang up $10 more than the tag said. The kind and helpful sales associate called the owner to ask for help adjusting the price, I could hear the owner over the phone rudely saying that the price on the tag was from a different sale and they wouldn’t honor the price on the tag, even though all the sweaters reflected the same price. (About 5 of them) this caused the owner to miss out on my purchase and my sister’s purchase as she didn’t want to give money to this store after a lack of integrity was clearly displayed. I feel bad for the associate working as she was doing her best to help and was so apologetic. Not sad to skip out on this purchase. Don’t have a store if you don’t want to stand behind good business standards.

Edited to add - I didn’t ask for more discounts than was advertised - I’m not a jerk and will not be made a liar. The shirt was marked at $32 and was supposed to be half off of that, the shirt rang up at $42 and I simply corrected the mistake on the receipt and was denied. The owner not know how to be a good owner and have integrity. Too bad. The other reviews speak...
