Mainstrasse Village Association — Attraction in Covington

MainStrasse Village was within walking distance of our hotel and recommended by the hotel because of most establishments being closed on Monday for Memorial Day. We had a nice walk over to the German village and really appreciated the eclectic array of restaurants and old buildings and architecture. A lot of culture and history. Absolutely beautiful. However, could only give it two stars. One because of the amount of homeless people. I get that things happen and most of us are only a paycheck away from being there ourselves. More needs to be done by the cities and municipalities to tackle this problem head on. Mainstrasse Village is such a nice place to visit. My wife and I were there for the 127 Yard Sale - The World's Longest Yard Sale. We stayed in an awesome B&B nearby. The 127 Yard Sale was awesome. We really enjoyed it. There were tons of vendors and they were all so nice.
