We really wanted to enjoy this place, hopefully we went on a bad day but unfortunately we cannot spend another 113$ to test that theory. We had multiple problems on our trip that were avoidable and we really arnt complainers but it got to be too much. When we came in the girl at the front kept getting very confused, then realized she forgot to take out the money bag from the safe that morning, and we waited over 10 minutes for them to figure it out and get the 3 dollars in change. Then she realized she forgot to have us fill out waivers and then spent another several minutes working on that. By this point we had been standing in the sun at the entrance with a line behind us for almost 20 minutes.
Then when we got in we went to get our equipment we were the only people over there and the man handed us each a harness with little to no instruction (2 adults and a 6 year old). And then a large group getting off came running up and the man made us stand to the side with our stuff hanging off us while he helped all those kids. Fine it’s just irritating. Then he gave us each a red hook and sent us on our way. I had to stop HIM and ask him for helmets. He had forgotten to give us any even though they are required. We made it over to the entrance where the guy had us wait another 5-8 minutes because a friend of his was trying to make his daughter (who was crying hysterically and physically hugging a tree) do a course she didn’t want too. He then informed us the man by equipment gave my 6 year old the wrong red clip and made us switch it. But then they put it on upside down and she was short so everytime we needed to move her red hook over the metal we were needing to lift her up into the arm, flip the hook upside down and then set her back down. Which wasn’t easy or fun when 30 feet in the air. Needless to say by this point er had only gone on one part of the 3, spent over 100$, and she was so fed up she just wanted to leave. We tried to play on the slides but no employees were paying attention and kids were throwing all the rings to the connect 4 game down the slide so she was getting pelted with them. We dropped our equipment off and left with a very sad and upset kid.
I’m giving it 2 stars because I’m sure it would have been fun and hopefully the staff gets better with time, but we can’t spend another 100$ to see if it...
Read moreWe stayed in Covington May 10. and 11.2025 for a dressage show. When I googled things to do in Covington, I wasn't too impressed with the results and luckily on our way to the hotel I saw the Tree Frogs Adventure Park (that should be on the top of this list!). I have been trying to find a climbing park like this in the US since a few years. The last time I climbed was in Germany the Kletterwald Huerth. The Tree Frogs Adventure Park is definitely fun and with a medium difficulty degree perfect for the whole family. I appreciated the high standard security features, that make you feel very safe. Friendly stuff on top....
Read moreMy nephew and I went to Tree Frogs Adventure Park for a sixth birthday party today. We had the BEST time! The harnessed ropes course was our favorite part. It was challenging yet appropriate for even my five-year-old nephew. The scenery was beautiful, quiet and quaint. You would never know you are in Covington! I love how the park has something for all ages, and the employees do not limit your time on the ropes course. The owner was present talking to everyone there, which made us feel extra welcome. I highly recommend Tree Frogs Adventure Park for anyone who loves outdoors and wants a fun adventure right here...
