We love trying new restaurants so when we saw this place with promising reviews we decided to give it a shot. However, I don't know if we ordered the wrong food or whatnot, but we weren't impressed.
"Peel and Dip Artichoke" was great. That was a really good start for the meal so we were expecting more from the pasta. I also had the "bubbles & bliss" signature cocktail and it was great.
I ordered the "agnolotti" pasta and it was too salty for me. I feel like they used too much salt on the sauce + salty cheese i couldn't take another bite of it. The pasta itself is okay, but I've had better. I felt like you'll need a sip of water with every bite.
My partner ordered the "linguini" pasta, on the other end, this one was too bland. It could use some more salt and flavor, they should've added the salt from agnolotti to this one. Every bite is either too bland or too spicy, it wasn't appetizing at all. The grilled chicken is too bland as well (you can see it on the pictureas well), no hint of salt at all.
We didn't get any pizza since we just ate pizza the night before. I rarely give 3 stars, but this was my honest opinion based on the food that we ordered. I highly recommend the Artichoke, but that's about it.
For 20$ a pasta you would expect it would be ah-mazing and perfectly seasoned!
My partner said, olive garden's tasted way better and is...
Read moreWe show up to the restaurant and waited 20 minutes in the lobby to ask for a table… the waitress was understandably busy answering the phone and dealing with the party of 11 ahead of us. Then, when it’s finally our turn, someone new walks in and the waitress immediately asks her how many is in her party and takes her to a table while ignoring us. We get to our table and it is so filthy. We wipe it with our provided linen napkin and I have included a photo of the napkin after wiping the table. The silverware was also on this filthy table. We wait 15 minutes for the waitress to come and she doesn’t as she is taking tables that came after us. Finally we called out to her and she comes. We tell her the table and silverware (and now our napkins) are dirty and she doesn’t apologize or offer to bring us more as replacements. She seemed to have an attitude and didn’t like that we complained about the table. I have no complaints about the food as it was very good… but we had to eat it without our silverware or napkins because they were dirty from the table. Very displeased with this experience and we won’t...
Read moreAs a small business owner in these difficult times, I know how important a public review can mean to a business. And I can almost assure you that the negative reviews I’ve read stem from being asked to wear a mask from the door to the table instead of the food and service. I have seen first hand how certain people treat the staff when all they’re doing is asking them to wear a mask while walking around the restaurant. It’s beyond frustrating and I can only imagine how the staff feels having to deal with such ignorant and uneducated people. With that being said, we’ve been customers for years. However, we started frequenting the curbside more at the beginning of the pandemic and only started revisiting the inside recently. The staff is always professional, courteous and prompt. The pizzas are by far my favorite. The Brussels sprouts are intensely addictive as are the hot tots. The atmosphere is perfect. Sure they’re not perfect and I’m sure mistakes can happen. But you should never leave a bad review from one experience and especially if you’re doing it to be vindictive because you don’t like their...
