I would give 0 stars if I could. We stayed over Labor day weekend. While the room looked OK, it had BED BUGS that bit me all night. I woke up almost every hour through the night to more bug bites and itches - not pleasant at all. By morning I was badly bitten on my hands, legs, back and neck, too many to count! We even saw a couple of bugs on the bed in the morning - yikes! Totally not acceptable from any hotel, much less if you pay over $100 a night! Save your money! When we told the lady at the front desk in the morning, all she said was “Oh my goodness” - no apology was given, no concession offered for the tortuous night.

Four days later, the bites are still there, but my only hope is that I didn’t bring back any bugs home. We were careful, but I guess we’ll find out after a few weeks. I myself will never go to this chain again for two reasons: (1) the fact that the room had bugs, (2) the fact that the management couldn’t care less about it. I also saw the other reviewer who complained about beg bugs. Clearly nothing has been done since that reviewer complained. My recommendation: STAY AWAY! Not...

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Asian lady that runs the place is very rude and mean to people she THINKS are homeless or less fortunate... Checked the place out and when we were walking through the parking lot she ran us off saying private property Go! Go! So we rented a room and when i went to the very meager continental bbreakfast they served she once again gave me a hard time asking what room i stayed in and checking my ID and info as if i was lying to her. All because my hair was unkept and im not clean shaven lol. I was going to rent another 5 days for the new years holidays and stay in town but decided to go to northcrest best western inn and rent there and it was much nicer and not much more in price. The place and management is horrible and does not meet up with America True Value Inn standards. First we book a non-smoking room, but it smelled a little bit like smoke but tolerable, so we kept it because we didn't go in until 10 p.m. The ceiling fan needed to be replaced because it was noisy, but it was hot so we ran it anyway - but clink clink clink - it kept us up for a couple hours no matter which speed we set it to. Then the toilet stop flushing in the middle of night and never flushed again while we were there. The shower had a slow drain so we showered in a little pool of water, and the lights switches didn't turn on any lights.

But the worst part about it is when I complained about all this in the morning to the owner she was unwilling to make any concessions for the horrible night. She did come and listen to the fan and just laughed because she didn't think...
