Located across 🍎Apple's 🍎 Cupertino Spaceship HQ off Wolfe Rd, easily accessible via HWY-280, it's one of the best Asian supermarkets in the entire Bay Area.
Note that even though Ranch 99 is a grocery chain with many stores across the Bay Area, not every store carries the same inventory and items! I've found many more items not found here, I've had to go elsewhere other Ranch 99 locations and said to myself why I couldn't find at THIS location‼️ Not only this, but some items are much cheaper, on sales, but not reflected at THIS location. But credits where credits are due, I did manage to find these yummy Dynasty Brands of Sriracha Hot 🔥 Sauces for merely 29¢ a bottle - yes, it's near expiration date, but as long as it's vacuum packaged, and use it up quickly, never find it's an issue; unlike more perishable foods like tofu or seafoods.
The best thing about this store is not really the aisles, but the deli counter; where you can use the $20-spent for $1 coupon to buy delicious takeouts, from a myriad of cooked items. For a bachelor like myself, there's no need to cook. I just use this as a starting point, and then go home & sautee some extra vegetables bought at the same store for a complete meal.
All in all, it's an OK, not the best Ranch 99 location (but closest to me), my preferred location is the one on De Anza Blvd near Home Depot, they got a huge selections and more discounts. They also got 50% discounts at the Deli Counter takeouts after 6pm, the cooked foods will have been thrown out anyways - I've seen this done at EVERY Ranch 99, what a waste of what God...

Now many years later with kids nearly college age, this place is a bit run down and the storefronts are a bit older. The parking is often bad, and the restaurants are kinda hard to find if you're looking for one in particular. But, still, there is a variety of foods and stores here for the Asian crowd. We just enjoyed another fine lunch at one of the restaurants, where "we" no longer means my buds but my...
Read moreIt’s been a very old plaza with many Chinese restaurants and shops. There haven’t been much change in the past few years, especially the selections of restaurants and tea shops. To be honest, there is no single restaurant that I could think as my top choice in my mind.
I even feel the quality of some of the restaurants is getting worse, due to the lack of competition, mainly Chinese foods.
The safety is also another concern, that I have heard a couple of stories of car break-ins, which is quite uncommon...
