This is my second, very positive review for DSH and their services! Our group booked the “Sip and Sail” package giving us a full winery tour day (separate review) and a full boat day on Lake Lanier! Booking with DSH was a super easy process start to finish! Their staff is well organized with attention to detail which we greatly appreciate. Both our wine day and boat day included a customized itinerary detailing out all the fun! I worked with Claire, DSH Operations Manager, and she was wonderful. From our very first correspondence, I was confident we were working with the best! Having Hunt as our driver for boat day was even further proof! Hunt was incredibly kind, professional and experienced. He is fun and flexible which was a perfect fit for our group! He picked us up from our AirBnB, drove us to the boat dock where he became our boat captain for the day, then drove us back to our AirBnB after the BEST day on Lake Lanier! We cruised the lake, stopped to swim and relax on the Waterpad, had some fun at a rope swing and just truly enjoyed every minute. Hunt knew his way around and where all the great spots were! A refill of ice for our coolers was no problem either, Hunt accommodated every need or want we had with ease and a smile. His priority was making sure we had a great experience and we really felt it! We are so grateful for...
Read moreThis was our first experience with DSH and also visiting the wineries in the area of Dahlonega, GA. DSH picked us up on time in a very clean van. Our driver, Parker, a local UNG student, was a careful driver, had a great personality, and was excellent with all of the clients on board (a total of 15). DSH took us to 4 different wineries, spending approximately 1.5 hours at each. Frankly, I had very low expectations of both the wineries and their wines at the start of this tour. However, the wineries we went to (Wolf, Kaya, Cottage, and Serenity) were all beautiful, well-maintained, and unique. The wines were surprisingly good as well (I mean... not California good... but definitely drinkable and enjoyable!). Going in the cooler weather of early October and on a Saturday (where most of the wineries had live music) made for a simply delightful day. Thanks to DSH for getting us around safely, making sure all of our questions were answered, and providing plenty of water! (by the way....while most of the participants enjoyed going along as a group for group tasting experiences, my wife and I preferred to go on our own at each of the wineries to the "regular" tasting rooms where we were able to select our own wines to...
Read moreDahlonega Wine Tours helped me create one of the most magical wine tours of my life. They worked with me to arrange the day in advance, showed up promptly, their tour van was super comfy with all the amenities including an accessible bluetooth speaker, and Erin in particular was an absolutely awesome guide. She was okay with making impromptu changes in our itinerary advising us how that might affect other things, she kept us on schedule while at the same time giving us plenty of space at each winery, and coordinated timelines at each drop off so we knew when we’d have to leave in order to meet our itinerary. Thats huge, because I did not have to manage any of it and instead could enjoy the day and the drinks!
Erin was fun, kind and even helped rescue one of our guests glasses from the tour van the next morning while we were in a rush to get them to the airport. Hospitality was off the charts!
The wine tour they suggested was IDEAL for me proposing to my girlfriend. Amazing and differentiated wines, breathtaking one of a kind views, musicians… the day could not have gone better. I owe them...
