The recent changes with the GPS tracking of drivers is creating an unsafe driving environment. Drivers traveling only 15 - 20 miles an hour in otherwise very good driving conditions (dry roads, clear and sunny day) as a "suggested speed" communicated by yellow caution signs (not white speed limit signs) around curves on a road that is rated as 45mph.
Safe driving is important for a business that does deliveries, but it should not be at the risk of other drivers. It is unnecessarily hazardous when having to very sharply slow down to avoid rear-ending an unsafely slow driver. This creates an unsafe environment for the delivery driver and anyone approaching at legal speed-limit speeds.
I observed no less than 15 vehicles backed up traveling on Long Branch this afternoon who were put at-risk following the over-cautious and outright dangerous driver who was adhering to a ill-conceived driver safety policy that's being implemented by Papa John's.
I will NOT be patronizing Papa John's until they reevaluate this poorly executed safety plan. FIGURE IT OUT...
Read moreNot sure what happened but this Papa John's and possibly the company as a whole has tanked. Recent health scores are awful. All that aside, here is my experience tonight. This location has delivered to me for over 10 years. Now regardless of what time it is, when I log into the app and ask for delivery it tells me that the store is closed. What it suggests to me is to use doordash. Doordash will deliver Papa John's to me, however you cannot use any coupons and have to pay seriously inflated prices for what is essentially fast food pizza. So what they have done is cut out everything but delivery within a couple miles and are now trying to force people to overpay for a product. Even crazier, when you try to call the local store now it reroutes to an answering service outside of the United States to process your order for you. Let that sink in. Papa John's is outsourcing their phone calls and not even letting people inside the store take orders anymore. That speaks volumes....
Read moreIf I could rate less I would! I have ordered from this location multiple times and it was ok at best. On the last particular order I called in delivery. I SPECIFICALLY SAID CASH and requested change for the driver to be able to break $100. Driver arrived and did not have change. I called the store and told them take the pizza back all I have is cash. Then magically the driver found change. The 1 pizza paid $30!! For was cooked improperly! When I called to speak with "James" the management on duty I was stopped before I could even explain anything to inform me of their "change policy" thanks! For nothing! Sir. In this economy EVERY CUSTOMER MATTERS. I know this because I work in the service industry. Will never order from any Papa...
