Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Dahlonega

Had to delete my previous 3-star review as another visit tipped the scales dramatically. I visited this location once a few weeks ago and had an 'ok' experience. Visited recently again and was completely disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, it horribly stank of urine. All of the restaurant reeked of the pee stench so much, I actually witnessed multiple customers come in, smell the place, and leave. I'm guessing someone peed in the floor of the bathroom and an employee mopped it up, but then used the pee water to mop the rest of the floors in the restaurant. The place also had an abnormal amount of flies and gnats. I understand a place near food would have a couple of flies here and there. However, I couldn't eat my food because I had to keep putting it down to swat away the flies and gnats. The place was also rather dirty. The tables were sticky and sprinkled with crumbs. It looked like the whole place hasn't been cleaned since last year. All of the employees were laughing extremely loudly and having a grand ol time in the back. I have no problem with employees having a good chat when there's nothing to do, however as bad as the condition of the restaurant was, they could've been cleaning. I had to finish the rest of my meal in my car because I just couldn't stand being in the restaurant. I frequent DQ. Work ethics w employees is extremely and I repeat extremely unprofessional. One day, there was a big tube of hand lotion above the soft serve ice cream dispenser! Wish I would have taken a picture for proof! Employees eating chick Fil a while working drive thru! Another female standing behind Chik fil A employee salivating over her food and not giving her undivided attention to who needed to b waited on at the counter! Silly young teens and young adults who cannot put their cell phones away to do their job! DQ needs to retrain their employees so that the dahlonega which is popular to tourists stays that way! Having just eaten at Pueblo's Mexican Restaurant and not being offered dessert, we tried to find Connie's Ice Cream but had trouble turning in the traffic at the roundabout, so I sought another place and DQ was closeby. I gave this location four / five stars simply because the location was odd - it was set quite close to the road and the only sign was on the building itself. Additionally, the drive-through line ran through the parking lot of the adjacent business so I'm not sure how this would work out when the other business was open during a weekday (we were there on a Sunday late afternoon.) There was a long line at the drive through but the service was speedy and we got through quicker than I thought we would.
