WARNING!!! Do not let your child enter this bookstore!!! My child was reported as, and arrested for, shoplifting. They thought that he had maybe stolen a jacket... of a type and color that they do not sell... that he had worn into the store. They thought that he had maybe stolen this item, while purchasing another item. With his grandparents standing there with him. Still, he was arrested an hour later at dinner. Fortunately, it was his 19th birthday and my son had a half dozen angry middle aged direct witnesses to counter the claims of the I QUOTE "thought, maybe" clerks... and he was released. I wrote to the adults that supposedly run the store, but I have not received a reply in a month that they have changed their practices. If you think there's a chance your child will not have a half dozen angry, middle aged, direct witnesses to your child's supposed crime, I highly suggest avoiding the location if at...
Read moreI never received an email explaining that the financial aid had a due date for the bookstore. I called in at noon to speak with someone to get clarification of how to order my books online. The male worker told me that I would be able to come in and they could place the order for me. I also went through my email and did not see an email stating that financial aid had a due date. If I would have seen that the email had in fact came I would have understood. But the fact that I called and he did not tell me this I find very unprofessional. Then his lackluster response to not explaining the situation when I still have...
Read moreI am a dual-enrollment student this semester, and I am already disappointed with this place. When I go to the book store to get my books (as a dual enrollment student, they are supposed to make a box for you with your books already ready because they are paid for), they only have one of my books in the box. They couldn't locate the other three, so I had to sit for 20 minutes from them to figure that out. All the while, they are taking their time drinking coffee and watching the line increase as they are talking to their buddies at the counter. I find out today they gave me the wrong version of what I needed for one of my classes when I am supposed to be taking a quiz on it. This bookstore needs to be run by mature adults and not a bunch of sloppy teenagers. So...
