Dollar General — Attraction in Dahlonega

While visiting this location I had a 5 star experience. The girl working was very sweet. I had my hands full with products I placed on the counter as I asked for the bathroom key and spoke out loud to myself saying I should have grabbed a basket. When I returned to continue shopping she had already grabbed a basket and placed my items inside.

Here's where they lose stars. I lost my debit card from the time I purchased my items and made it to my car. I live two hours from this location so decided to call and ask if a card was turned in. I call 10 times the evening I realized it was missing. No one answered. I called three more times the next morning. Still no answer. I checked DG website to verify the phone number was correct. Once verified I called the corporate number for assistance. I was told the district manager would call me within 48 hours after he investigated. No one reached out to me. If the phone number is wrong on the corporate site then it needs to be updated so customers can actually contact someone at the stores location if they have any inquiries...

This place is pretty cheap for items I need. The store is always really clean except the bathrooms are a little messy. There's normally only one employee working the cash register, and I personally think they should have more employees working on the registers but there's not a lot of people that go in all at once as well. When I went in there was a lady that was working and she wasn't very nice she had no manners and overall she seemed like she didn't care to be...

The cashier never tells me the right total and gives back incorrect change. He forgot to give me a gallon of m8lk one night and I go back the next day and to my surprise he greets me with the milk at curb side service. Turns out the gallon was spilt and I do believe he had ricin me the same one from the night b4 and never put it back in the cooler. But I really have no proff of that. Just my own...
