My visit to renew my husband's registration was no easy task‼️ I came in uninformed and il- prepared, to say the least. You would think that is the makeup of a disaster, but it wasn't. The moment I stepped in the door, I was greeted warmly by the nicest lady security guard with wonderful frosted tips on her hair! I wish I had gotten her name because she spoke slowly so that I could accomplish my mission. She had the patience of a SAINT‼️ALSO there to save the day was a wonderful woman behind the information desk. Her warm smile and calm demeanor, while helping me with my paperwork, put me at ease cause I was frantic. I even said to her that I should just come back another day. She smiled again and asked if I really wanted to do that. No, I didn't and they confirmed to put up with me and my Husband who was texting me all the info that they told me I needed. Can you believe I didn't get her name either‼️THEN‼️after all of that Amanda Torres (I called and tried to get everyone's name who helped me but the only one I could get was Amanda's because she processed my transaction)but like I was saying Amanda took over for The Win! She helped me get all the info emailed to her and BOOM just like that, we don't have to ride dirty if you k ow what I mean‼️ After all of that there was ANOTHER sweet lady security guard when I was leaving who had beautiful dreds‼️ We talked and had a wonderful conversation‼️ Then when I called to Rave about how wonderful my new friends were I spoke to 2 Vanessas and they were GREAT‼️LOOKIT I have been in several cities from Brooklyn to Manhattan to Chicago to South Bend to Atlanta and by far the registration in Oakcliff TX has been by far my Best experience 💜 Real Talk I was probably in and out of there in 30 minutes FLAT‼️They're the Best and deserve raises for dealing...
Read moreI had the most pleasant experience I have ever had in all my years dealing with tax office and getting in and out of there. From time I arrived there was plenty of parking, when I walked into the door, the person sitting at the information desk was very friendly and provided me with the correct forms I needed to get the process of transferring title out of my name into someone else's. The person that assisted me and my brother in law Carla Sandoval was so helpful and she just had a calmness and was in control. By this, I mean she didn't have to ask no one for help and had all of the answers and processed all the paperwork in a timely manner (less than 10 minutes-total). She also provided additional information on how to get vehicle registration and also vehicle inspection. I would say she is an asset and to make things even better, she is fluent in Spanish. I have been a supervisor in one of the largest call centers in Dallas before, and would like to state that the representative has more customer service skills and qualities than I have ever seen. She is AWESOME, and that is an understatement. She should be Employee of The Year and be given compensation for helping everyone have a smooth transition that goes to this office and also Thank her supervisors and managers for training. I have to say Carla went above and beyond and I am thankful to have visited...
Read moreFacility is nice, other customers were fine. Workers are rude. This lady had her arm on the kiosk, back turned, having a whole conversation with the information desk, completely ignoring me. I went ahead and submitted my information. When the ticket printed, she was alarmed and tried to tell me about where I couldn’t stand. To which I looked at her confused because … I just signed in. Not trying to go anywhere else lady. Just trying to be in and out like everybody else. She kept trying to go back and forth with me until she finally shared SHE’S suppose to run the kiosk for COVID reasons. Really? In the Grand Prairie DMV, it’s obvious because they’re working. 🙄
Update: a security man took over. He touched said kiosk. He kept walking away from the kiosk. A random woman like myself used the kiosk in the 15 minutes it’s been left in absence. Same woman on a power trip comes back to put a sign on the kiosk that reads “DO NOT USE KIOSK!!!! NO UTILIZAR KIOSKO!!!”
Is this how you force yourself to earn your keep? Require in-person conversations (for health reasons?) to make yourself feel helpful?
Oh. Security guard came back. He put away the sign. Such a joke. He’s nice but… Surprise. He’s letting people touch the kiosk.
Update 2: Everyone using this kiosk left and right. No...
