I called in morning and left a message for a hydrafacial and the knockout massage $360 total. They were able to fit me in SAME DAY for an afternoon appointment on a Thursday. Deja (the best aesthetician in Dallas) gave me an incredible and detailed facial. HER ATTENTION TO DETAIL was the icing on the cake for me. My face felt like a newborn baby with their new products by Biologique and Skincueticals. They serve only rose water and green tea - both were divine! The waiting room was very plain but not busy and very welcoming. Wish they had loungers or champagne to really encourage relaxation and not just waiting. Despite not having any amenities like a hot tub, sauna, steam room, or pool, my facial was probably one of the best (I am a regular so this is def a gold metal for Deja). The deep tissue by Andrea was fantastic- she hit key pressure points and checked in several times to ensure the pressure was to my liking. I like how they train their staff because Deja was intrigued by my curiosity (I love learning about ingredients and how to care for me skin)! For massages, I love the attention to the selection of oils and preferences before any work is done. There was a short conversation at the beginning of every treatment so I could share my feedback or concerns up front. I loved the briefing card when you check in - it allows us to share if we want to be chatty or quiet time, if you want to feel upbeat or relaxed and any add on services. I added the extra time on my feet for $10 and the scalp massage for another $20. They really push you to sign a membership because it’s much MUCH cheaper but I passed. It’s a great deal! I just like trying new spas occasionally but Deja will forever be my go-to for my quarterly facials. The facilities were very clean! Aveda hair products in the women’s locker rooms and plenty of sizes of robes. Lockers were easy to use with a 4 digit code. They made me feel special and it was a wonderful afternoon. The area is in a busy strip mall next to Bread Winners so I found parking easily and had a nice lunch.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding customer service I received from Deja Porter, an esthetician at the Hiatus Spa + Retreat location on Lovers Lane. During my recent visit, Deja went above and beyond to ensure my experience was exceptional. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care were evident throughout the entire session. Deja took the time to thoroughly understand my skin concerns and tailored a treatment plan that addressed my specific needs. Her technique was gentle and meticulous, and I could feel the results immediately. Beyond her technical skills, Deja's interpersonal skills were equally impressive. She was friendly, empathetic, and genuinely interested in my well-being. She listened attentively to my feedback and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I am delighted with the results of my treatment and the overall experience I had at your establishment. Deja Porter is a true asset to your team and deserves recognition for her exceptional customer service. I highly recommend Deja and your establishment to anyone seeking professional and personalized skincare services. Thank you for providing such a memorable experience.

The customer service at the front desk is the worst. I inquired about their availability on Saturday for a couple’s massage or an individual massage. She suggested I explore other options in other locations, which she sounded quite annoyed over the phone. My husband promptly called the spa using a different phone number and inquired about today’s availability. To my astonishment, she revealed that there were four spots available. I was deeply disappointed by her blatant lie. I had two massages here, and both times, the customer service was terrible. The spa locker room reeked of sewage, and the bathroom was filthy. They neglect to clean the slippers, simply returning it to clean shelf after each customer’s use, which resulted in fungal growth on my feet. This establishment is utterly unprofessional, with hair strewn across the floor. Surprisingly, I ended up with bruises on my body after the massage, an experience I’ve never had at any other spa. I strongly advise against visiting this place. As a local guide, I can confidently say that it’s not worth the money.

I am very disappointed with this location and the lack of knowledge with the desk staff at the front. My mother and I went in for services this morning, she was going for a massage and I was going for acupuncture. Mind you we planned to come specifically for acupuncture and had to schedule it around the acupuncturist schedule since she is not there on the daily. Once we arrived, the girl at the front showed us around the facility, and then offered us mimosas or champagne at request. We told her we would take two mimosas (with alcohol). A few minutes after, she returned with our drinks and told us to wait in the lounge area until we were called. As soon as I stepped out of the bathroom the acupuncturist asked if I was there for her and I told her yes. She then noticed I had a mimosa in my hand and asked me if it had alcohol. I told her yes it did, she then told me she would be unable to preform the service due to the drink containing alcohol. I told her I was never informed that I wasn’t allowed to drink alcohol before the service. She apologized and told me regardless she wouldn’t be able to preform the service, and this was the first time for an incident like this, and that the would talk to the spa manager in regards to the incident. My mother and I then walked to the waiting lounge and the girl told me the same thing that I wouldn’t be able to receive the acupuncture service due to the alcohol intake and they could schedule me for a facial instead. We informed her how absurd it was due to them offering alcoholic beverages before a service when it was not allowed. I went wanting the acupuncture service not a basic facial, I told her we would have to reschedule and decline the services as we came for something specific. We then walked out to the front desks where we told them it was ludicrous that we were even offered alcohol when they knew that prior to the service there should be no alcohol intake, and as the guest I should have been informed or we would have not accepted the drink. This is very unfortunate as we drove 45 minutes to this location just to be denied our booked service due to the incompetence of their employees not knowing protocol for certain services.

UPDATE: I do very much appreciate Callie, the location manager, reaching out in regards to my unfortunate first experience at Hiatus. She was professional and very apologetic about...

DO NOT JOIN FOR THE LOVERS LANE LOCATION! I had a membership for several years and then cancelled about a year ago because of repeated last minute appointment cancellations by the spa or issues with them not correctly rebooking appointments. I rejoined a few months ago because I read they had added the HydraFacial service. What I didn’t know is that you have to call to book the HydraFacial and they definitely have not fixed their issues with booking appointments over the phone. I had an appointment for 7:45pm Monday, March 2nd and had to dash work in LasColinas to home in Kessler Park before heading to the Lovers Lane spa location. I get there with 3 minutes to spare only to be told my appointment had been booked for 3/12 and not 3/2. I know this was not what I booked over the phone because (1) I always put the appointment in my calendar while I am making the appointment and (2) I had a work trip booked months ago that required me to be out of town on 3/12. The receptionist told me she would have a manager call me Tuesday to arrange a comp’d service for the inconvenience but I never heard from anyone. So I called Hiatus Tuesday night and after waiting on hold for twenty minutes I was told they would take a message and text the 3 managers to contact me. It’s now Wednesday night and I still haven’t heard from anyone. So I called again and left a message for the managers but I will be shocked if anyone returns the voicemail. I love getting facials from Crystal but the nail services have declined significantly. I only receive my membership discount on some of my product purchases so you always have to ask for a receipt to double check. It’s just not worth all the headaches. I’m going to use up my credits and then drop the membership again. I’d rather pay the extra money to...
