My hair needed some work and Ellen was able to revive it and make me feel as if I could keep up with styling it. My last time in a salon was a year ago elsewhere where I had dyed my hair and by the time I came to this appointment my split ends had split ends and half my waist lengthen hair was bleach blond with no remainder of the orange red tone I had a year ago. I told Ellen do what you want to my hair I just want it to be healthy. I showed her some past photos and I told her to just make sure it matches my face structure ; I am not too fond of my wide structure near my cheeks. I had nothing in mind to do with my hair, I was a blank slate. We discussed what she was going to do and she made sure I was okay with it even when I gave her free roam. During the haircut process we would talk about hair among other topics and I felt extremely comfortable speaking with her. We talked about the type of hair I had and things that would be useful for the type of hair I had. When it was time to style, due to one of the hair topics, she offered to style my hair 2 of which ways but my focus rang with excitement for the 2nd one, which was to style it based on how I can do it at home alone! I was soo excited because I can straighten and curl my hair but I don’t often and i usually just come out of the shower without much care. Well now I have a way to style my hair without much work and still look amazing! Now, My hair does not make me feel as top heavy as most experiences tend to do where I would go home and shower and my hair falls flat from the once upstyled hair experience that I would not replicate. Zach is a fantastic stylist and an all round lovely person! By far the best experience I have ever had at a salon - both the result and feeling at ease the whole time :)

Myself and my partner came in with almost a year since we had been in a salon and he knew exactly what to do with our hair. He very sensibly talked my partner out of getting an undercut and explained why it wouldn’t suit us at the moment- we’re moving countries and don’t have time in the next few weeks for the upkeep (and are pretty low maintenance 😂) - and instead he showed us how my boyfriend’s long hair could be shaped and styled without a dramatic change to look harmonious with his face shape. Zach understood the vibe we were going for from the get go.

As I haven’t had a cut in ages I was worried how much of my hair would need to be trimmed off - not only did Zach take the time to explain and show me where my ends were thinning and where would need to be cut so I could meet my goal of continuing to grow my hair, but he took far less off than I was expecting and did a fantastic job shaping my layers and talking me through the techniques and products.

Always an Exceptional Hair Care Experience with ELLEN!!!

I recently visited this salon for a much-needed haircut, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and was offered something to drink. The salon itself has a chic and modern atmosphere, and hipster vibe which immediately put me at ease. The nostalgic array of music that was playing throughout the salon was the cherry on top!

My stylist ELLEN who I followed here from her previous salon in Plano, has not failed me yet again and exceeded my expectations once again. This is why I am willing to make the 40 min drive through the Dallas traffic. Not only does she always take the time to listen to my requests and preferences, but she also offeres valuable suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and I could tell she is always truly passionate about her talents.

Not only did I leave with a fabulous new hairstyle that received numerous compliments, but I also left with valuable tips on how to maintain and style my hair at home.
