Target — Attraction in Dallas

Recently received the gift card and tried to return a purchase made with the debit card at this target in order to have the money back and buy said items with gift card in one trip. Lady at customer service decided to tell me that she could not return the items and give me cash even though when driving 4 miles away to the next closest Target I had no problem receiving cash for the items I returned. This is not the first time this has happened at this Target and I actually kind of stopped by here just to see if that was going to be a one-time thing. Of course it wasn't. If you were trying to return a debit purchase and are expecting cash back don't bother coming to this store, as they're going to make you wait the 3 business days or so it takes for your debit card to be credited unlike literally any other Target in existence. Once again feel free to shop here all you want but don't return anything to the store if you are expecting cash for your debit transaction.

I wanted to amend this review and add that I drove 10 minutes away and literally wasn't even asked if I wanted cash back.. just handed the money back for the items I had returned with my receipt. I think this says a lot about the people that work at this particular location and the assumptions that they like to make: being presumptuous as to the legitimacy of the return transaction and therefore denying me what is standard procedure at literally any other freaking Target location in the US. Of course I doubt that anyone running things at this location reads their Google reviews and I'm too lazy to download the Yelp app so yeah. Bottom line is this place...

I wish that I could rate lower. I just moved I to an apartment in the area and I am a full time tattoo artist. This being said I look a bit out of the ordinary. I have tattoos, stretched ears, and dreadlocks. However at no point does this classify me as a threat to your inventory or a thief and or criminal. If I come in to any establishment and spend $446.24 on a few furnishings for my apartment the last thing I want is to be followed the ENTIRE TIME. Why was I followed so intensely target? All the way to check out? Wouldn’t you be excited about someone coming in putting a lot of completely sensible items in their cart rather than doing it at another store? Instead I was followed and had someone who appeared to be a manager also join in. One person greeted me and that was the lovely young lady behind checkout 2 I didn’t catch her name but she didn’t even look at me twice and was pleasant the entire time. Didn’t even check the cash that I paid the majority of my purchase with as I’m sure the ones who followed me would’ve. I’m surprised they didn’t come relieve her of checking me out just to make sure I wasn’t getting over on them somehow. if I come back to this location and spend any more money here it’s only because of the lady at check out 2 on 05/03/23 @...

Absolutely the worst location ever. Twice I have order online to pick up in store and have been treated so poorly. Today I went to pick up a order that was ready Thursday I get their provided my ID the puertorican lady at the help desk proceeds to turn around to locate my bags of items she can't find them ask another girl that walks in and tells her she cant find my bags. They both rechecked all the bags she then in spanish tells her "no veo esta orden hay que decirle que estan canceladas" before she gets a chance to turn around I let her know that would have worked if only i didnt speak spanish. Shes like am sorry but your order was cancel because we have 48hours and it hasnt been 48 hours. She then tells me I will need to go find my items in the store. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF ORDERING ONLINE IF I HAVE TO GO SHOP FOR MY THINGS MYSELF!!! They finally found my items threw them all on the counters told me it was my fault because the paper attached had the name of the billing that had my friends name.
