White Rock Lake Trl — Attraction in Dallas

It is beautiful and a romantic place. 💕😍🤩🫶🏽The lake is clean and you are allowed to fish too. We were lucky coz the day we went it wasn’t very hot and there was light cool breeze and it was lovely. The houses around the lake are magnificent. There are lot of trails around the lake. Only thing I would say is that there isn’t much public restrooms available. The portable ones are not clean and no place to wash hands!?!? I mean we have been through a pandemic yet the lack of basic hygiene requirements are not met. For the size of the trail, they need more restrooms for sure. So be prepared to run to your car to get somewhere for a restroom break! Great trail but if planning on walking around the lake plan for three to three and a half hours as the lake is larger than you might think. Trip wasn’t too busy and offered a nice outdoor escape minutes from Downtown Dallas. Views of down are great as well as the small waterfalls south of the damn on the Southside of the lake. I loved this place to relax and get my steps in. I sat down and contemplated the lake, butterflies, dragonflies and ducks. You can also bring a book, your dog and snacks for a picnic....
