G Dental Group — Attraction in Daly City

If I could give 10 stars, I would. After going to the same dentist for 20 years, I moved to San Francisco and couldn't afford to fly back to Texas as often. I was worried that I'd encounter a dentist just fixated on wanting to find issues to fix to turn a profit, but not this place!

From the front Desk (Jlin!), the dental hygentist (Jen), and Dr. Galang the experience was amazing. Dr. Galang does your first exam and cleaning so he can be as familiar and thorough with your teeth and make notes. They have high tech stuff with pictures, you can see your issues (if there are any) so they're not making anything up! Also, text reminders to confirm your appointment which is a bonus for me.

I only had one filling since my old filing was chipped. Dr. Galang showed me the issue and told that was what was causing my sensitivity and not a cavity. They did a filling which was not painful. He gave me headphones to listen to so I couldn't have to hear the drilling noise.

Cleanings have been great as well, very preventative advice. Showing my why flossing is important instead of just saying you need to floss! It feels like going to a spa for your mouth. They're gentle and thorough at the same time!

I've been going for the past year and a half and they've always been consistently amazing. The office feels like you're there to chat with friends and just chat and get your teeth...

G Dental Group provides a level of service that has been unmatched from the moment I walked through their front door. As someone who has always dreaded going into a dentist’s office, I no longer feel this way as everyone at G Dental Group from the front desk to the dental health professionals in this office are genuinely friendly, compassionate, and helpful.

Dr. Galang provided my first consult in July 2025 and has become my primary dentist, as well as my daughter’s dentist, ever since our first meeting. Dr. Galang is an absolute professional with excellent communication skills. He is an attentive listener who provides thorough exams, x-rays, detailed treatment plans, helpful education on oral health, and regular follow-ups. I have learned more about my oral health and condition in my first visit than my whole life!

Thank you, Dr. Galang, Dr. Corvera, Natalia, and Noy for all the hand-holding you do with me whenever I visit. I no longer fear dental health professionals and actually look forward to visiting your office again to help maintain my oral health.

During the whole cleaning process, The hygienist didn’t even ask if I’m ok when I was coughing and trying to close my mouth so that the suction device that hook to my mouth can such up my saliva a multiple times. At the end of the cleaning, she just said rinse your mouth and then left. she didn’t even tell me I have a take away bag. She just laid it there by the sink. I had to ask her if the bag was for me. Despite the poor attitude, I think she did clean my teeth well. I will give this dental office a few more visits before deciding if I need to switch to a different dental group.

I gave 2 more stars for today’s visit (2 weeks later from my last review) for a night guard. I was pleasantly pleased that Dr G followed up with me regarding my review. That proved that he cares about his patients and the quality services his staff are providing. I provided him my concerns and he’s committed to continue to train his staff and provide excellent patient services. I will continue to come to this dental group as long as excellent patient care...
