Ascot Diamonds Charlotte — Attraction in Davidson

My fiancé and I didn’t really know where to start with ring shopping. We viewed YouTube and TikTok videos guiding us to the decision of using a brand outside of the big chains. We wanted to work with a more local brand with high quality sourcing and a personable sales experience.

We were blown away by our first appointment with Matt after doing some shopping with other jewelers. Matt patiently took the time to explain the diamond, the history, and even the market. Matt took his time explaining the various shapes and allowed me to try on multiple examples. He also explained the color, clarity, and size attributes for a full explanation of how price and gem correlate. After the shape and attributes were discussed, potential settings were discussed and I also tried multiple on. Matt was again patient and honest through the entire process making it a very relaxed, pressure free experience.

The appointment was made with Matt to explore the option of Ascot diamonds and it ended in Matt and my fiancé working behind the scenes to create my dream ring. I was truly blown away by my dream ring crafted by Ascott with the help of Matt. When the box opened my heart jumped. I’ll never forget the moment I saw my dream ring that I never knew existed. Thank you to Matt for playing a huge part in the surprise. I get compliments everywhere I go - it’s absolutely a treasure. We will definitely be making an appointment in the future for wedding bands!...

I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking to buy jewelry. I randomly stumbled across Ascot online and noticed they had a perfect 5.0 star rating, which has been more than earned based on my experience. Coming in I had next to no knowledge about diamonds and I needed a ring fast. I did not want to go to a box store, but I had no idea I was going to get the polar opposite experience. Matt scheduled 1:1 meetings with me in his personal office (which is awesome by the way!) and talked me through the whole process. He taught me about things I should look for and what really mattered when buying a diamond. The thing I appreciated the most with Matt is that he was never trying to sell anything to me. He asked me what my budget was and presented several options that would work for me within that range. I went with a natural diamond but he even presented lab grown diamonds to me that would have been much cheaper. My favorite part of this experience was building the perfect ring for my fiance'. My ring was completely customized, from the band to the diamond and the side stones. Matt built for me exactly what I wanted and delivered it quickly. It was an absolute grand slam and worth every penny I paid for it. Well done...

Matt was incredible to work with! My fiance and I had been ring shopping other places, and while we had good experiences, we didn't receive the in depth education like we did from Matt.

We made an appointment with Matt and were the only ones in the showroom, which really helped personalize the experience. He then really helped us with what to focus on when choosing a diamond, the history of the market, the 4 c's, and really anything you can think of when it comes to diamonds.

I went in unsure of which shape I liked, and he really helped break everything down which led me to choosing my dream ring. I tried on different bands with different settings and diamonds of all shapes and sizes. He was so patient the entire time, even when I was extremely indecisive. He was able to write everything down that I wanted/didn't want which made it so easy for my fiance once it was time for him to go in and purchase the ring! Matt also accommodated the timeline my fiance had in mind which was an added bonus.

I've been recommending all my friends go to Ascot and work with Matt for an unmatched experience. We will be going back when it's time to pick out wedding bands, and really for any other jewelry needs....
