Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in Davidson

Some employees can really give a business a bad rep. Had an older lady PUSH my friend and be rude to her. It was hectic because of free cone day but no need to be rude, I say this because other employees didn’t say anything while moving a bench, no “excuse me” or “could you give us some room” nothing & incase you’re wondering there was plenty of space there for them to walk forward while moving the bench it was just heavy I assume bc they kept wobbling. Oh and the same lady that pushed my friend also accused us of throwing signs on the ground when they had fallen prior to us even being there. The staff once we got inside was very friendly and cool. I’ve worked in retail and customer service for years so I understand people having a bad day or nerves so no need to be all smiles but one thing for sure is there is never a reason to be rude. The woman who seems to manage this place is rude. Condescending as well. I'm done spending money here. Thankfully Harris Teeter sells cones and Ben & Jerry's so I can make my own at home.

Hi Karen. It was you. You are the rude person I interacted with on the day that comes to mind. One example (of several): I asked about jobs while waiting for my cone. You looked at me and in a condescending tone asked, "Aren't you a little too old to be scooping cones?"

Not that it should matter but we were Ben & Jerry customers long before I made the inquiry. (Which was for my child, by the way.)

Regardless of your personal feelings about ANYTHING, I'm sure Ben, Jerry, and Unilever would all agree that everyone who enters the ice cream shop should receive a MINIMUM of good...

When you come into the shop, tell them you’re in the club and get 10% off is my understanding. That’s cool! I’ve update videos and pics. Enjoy! Ben & Jerry’s have been my go-to ice cream for many years. I had not done a review of this location and we have lived here for nearly 4 years. As one other reviewer said, good ice cream but not cheap. On this visit, I believe my husband paid about 15 dollars plus a tip for just two “small” ice creams. So I can’t imagine what a big family may spend in one visit.
