Horrible experience! When we first arrived no one was at the register, we had to go to where they sell fish and meats and ring the bell on that counter just to get someone's attention for assistance. Purchased coconut, opened package & it was very slimy & pieces were discolored. Let them know all of the packaged coconuts had a horrible rotten color to them and they looked rotten, told them they should throw them away. I figured the one I chose was the least horrible, I was wrong. Husband picked up packaged chocolate cake; 4 slices, he ate 1, looked at the rest, after he ate a slice, noticed all of them had mold all over them!!! This is really bad! Hopefully my husband will not get sick!!! When one shops at a farmers market you go anticipating to buy good wholesome products & don't mind paying the extra money because of this. This is not the first time I've purchased rotten items from them. A few years ago it was a salad and I had to return it when I noticed the cucumbers were slimy, I was asked if I wanted a refund or an option to pick another salad, I chose to get another salad, that one was also rotten, the cucumbers and tomatoes were slimy. I didn't return to the farmers market for 2 years after that experience and a few rotten coconuts along the way. I just started recently giving them another chance. I strongly believe this will have to unfortunately be the last time I visit this store. I cannot take any more chances with our health. I don't want us to end up in the hospital because we're trying to eat healthy. Selling rotten food way too many times! Check the food you are selling...
Read moreI am going to give it a 5 because it was something very different from going to my local Publix or Whole Foods. I particularly like to go to farmers markets on the weekend instead of the traditional grocery store but I am tired of having to wait until the weekend to shop since sometimes my schedule doesn't allow me to go on the weekend. I searched Google to find anything remotely close to a farmers market and this came up along with a few other places. I like the store. It was small and quaint so I definitely wouldn't want to be there if it was packed. I went around 11am on a Monday so I guess that was perfect timing. I had hoped that I could get all of my produce from there so I was a bit disappointed that the greens, apples or oranges didn't look well or that they didn't have some of the things that I wanted. That would've put me in heaven and earned them this 5 star but because the service was lovely and because of their juice and smoothie bar, it brought them up to a 5. Otherwise, I would've given a 4 or 4.5. Great store though. I am happy to know that they assist nearby. Get the oranges, apples and greens on point and I am there like the fair ALL THE TIME. I'll be back though. I cannot lie. It was a cool experience. I was even able to pick up salt, pepper and some other things that I just knew they wouldn't have and would have to pick up from Publix. I still ended up going to Publix for a few things that they didn't have like the apples, oranges and greens but it was cool. I'll be...

Prior Review 1 Star Just too bizarre not to share this story. Today I went to brothers market to buy or ask about some seeded potatoes. Asked two girls working there and they were clueless of what I was talking about. Fair enough... not a common question I guess. But I needed some for a school project for my son.
So after that my kids asked for some loose weight nuts and fruits. The various nuts and dried fruits are priced anywhere between $7.99 /lbs. and $14.99 but most of it not more than $9.99.
Given the kids wanted multiple things I filled a good bag probably close to $30 worth of various items. However since I knew everything was priced differently I chose only assortments of $9.99 or less to make it easy. Once at the registrar I told the man that I had only chosen items under $9.99 and under, so he can just ring it up at 9.99. He responds with a simple NO and insisted that one of the cashews was indeed over $9.99. I was like huh???!!!
He then proceeds to open the bag to count the 4, 5 or 6 cashews that were $2 more per lbs.!!!!!! I said, I really don't want him to touch my items and simply said... Let's go kids. Before leaving I told Jose, that he just lost a customer. Do you blame me or am I crazy to think that this was absolutely ridiculous on...
