This is my #1 gourmet store. They have all kind of rare articles that are hard to find elsewhere, the prices are reasonable and the staff is super good vibes. I noticed some changes and I was told it is in process of changing owners. The new owners-to-be gave me the best service ever… if I already loved this spot now they truly gained my loyalty forever. After waiting 20 min for an employee cut a $10 piece of sushi grade tuna (which I had called ahead for to make poke bowls), he refused to sell it to me because it was too cold to cut easily,, and he didn't want to partition a larger piece. They did have the tuna in stock in the back. I then spoke with the owner who basically told me to buy something else. I asked if he would sell me the available thawed sushi grade salmon for the same price, he told me that he didn't want to loose money on it. Shopped there for the first time about a week ago. Was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients (the organic Salmon we purchased was of better quality than what we buy in the big retailers). They have a lot of good quality frozen meats (organic options like Bell & Evans chicken, organic Turkey, etc) as well as a collection of reasonably priced wines. I’m planning on visiting again this weekend to see what the fresh fish 🐠 🐟 selection looks like. All in all, a welcome addition to our local shopping scene....
