I recently had a disappointing experience at Al-Salam Meat Market. While I've been a regular customer there without any issues, I've recently noticed some concerning practices. For instance, they not only tried to pass off farmed salmon as wild, but they also sold it to my wife, who isn't familiar with telling the difference. This is a misleading and dishonest practice that takes advantage of trusting customers. This not only resulted in us paying a higher price, but we also received the incorrect type of meat. It's disheartening to encounter such dishonesty, and I hope they market addresses these issues to maintain their customers' trust. This incident underscores the importance of consumer awareness and the need for businesses to uphold ethical standards.

Never again! If I could give zero starts I would. The owner was very rude. I placed an order for pickup and confirmed pick up time and store closing hours. Received a call to pick up my order early, day of pickup because they wanted to close early. I told him I will do my best to be there but reminded him that the person that took the order confirmed hours. I also mentioned that I love an hour away. Owner was rude, yelled at me, told me he didn't want to fulfill the order anymore and hung up phone! Very disrespectful, please beware this butcher shop treats customers with zero respect. I have no trust in quality of their services and products if they can be this rude to their customers. Customer service...

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I was sold spoiled hummus and baba ganouj twice! The store itself is filthy I asked to use the bathroom in the back and was shocked to see the area where they prepare the meat. It was disgustingly unsanitary. On top of that, the guys at the meat counter were extremely rude and dismissive, as if I was bothering them just by asking simple questions.
