clean they have chicken gyozo which is unusual (usually pork) and we loved them! Super flavorful and prepared perfectly. -shrimp tempurA was very good/typical -shrimp shumai, I liked but were a bit fishier then I prefer.... also, they very much reminded me of costcos :) as did the tempura.
waitress took order and wrote down "no" mushrooms and when it came it was covered in mushrooms. He hates to complain but later when he was picking them out she happened by and asked how things were. He was literally picking out mushrooms and mentioned how he has requested multiple times to not get mushrooms, she said and did nothing---- if I was the waitress/owner, I would have replaced the dish right then and there....nope... I got to watch him spend at least 5 minutes picking them out. Later, when we got the bill we were "surprised" with 20% off. The "surprise" was unnecessary and we would have preferred an apology and replacement.
our teriyaki (my kid and I split)chicken was so sweet it was inedible. I never complained but even my kiddo couldn't stomach the sweetness. It always surprises me when a plate goes back untouched and they ask nothing about why we didn't touch it.

There is one waitress, so I respect that she has a lot of work to do, but she is quite aggressive and off-putting. She stands next to the table after she hands you the bill while you gather your cash or card, and watches as you sort out the bill and tip. please, stop doing this. It is so inappropriate and uncomfortable. Additionally, I usually end up only eating half of my meal and feeling sick after; I attributed it to the excessive amount of salt in the ramen dishes, but I see many comments here about MSG in the food, and that’s truly upsetting. I hope this isn’t the case. My fiancé didn’t finish his meal on our most recent (and last) visit because a cook in the kitchen had a coughing fit in the prep area…so gross. it was really too much. She went to take our glasses of lemonade away from us to refill them in the back. I'm pretty sure that is a health code violation. I asked her to stop and she put my drink back. I later explained the situation to her and she was receptive to my feedback, but I just wanted to post this here so management could be made aware of the issue. The waitress should have brought me a fresh glass. She returned my husband's dirty glass from the kitchen with his used straw and everything. That's not sanitary. Food was wonderful, we had the Tantan(?) Spicy ramen and the ramen with the scallops and shrimp. Sweet potato fries and soft shell crabs were great, and waitress helped me pick out a spicy mayo to have with my fries which I really enjoyed.
