Extremely Disappointed – Never Going Back!
We had planned a friend’s birthday celebration at Truva Restaurant on Mason Montgomery, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. We all ordered Chicken Adana Kebabs for the main course, hoping for a nice evening out.
While we were waiting, drinks were served, but the waiter accidentally spilled them right in front of one of our friends — no apology or effort to clean it up properly. Then came the appetizers, and the bread was served cold, clearly not fresh or heated.
Things got worse with the main course. The Chicken Adana Kebabs smelled absolutely foul and were releasing water as if they were rotten or not cooked properly. We were genuinely concerned about food safety at that point. When we raised this with the staff, instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the issue, the chef came out with a dismissive attitude and said, “I ate it, it’s not smelly at all.”
The waiter then asked if we’d like to reorder something else, but honestly, after being served food that seemed spoiled, none of us had the appetite left. When the bill came, some of us were charged incorrectly — one person was even billed twice for a drink.
To top it all off, when we asked for the birthday cake (which we had handed to them earlier to keep in the fridge), the waiter literally dropped it upside down while bringing it out. No apology, no accountability. And when we finally asked to speak with the manager, he came over with an attitude and said, “Go and never come back to this restaurant ever.”
That’s how they treat their guests — with zero respect and absolutely no sense of customer service. We were shocked and extremely disappointed. This place ruined what was supposed to be a special day.
I will never go back and will definitely not recommend Truva to anyone. Proceed with caution if you’re thinking of...
Read moreIf you're looking for an authentic Turkish culinary adventure, look no further! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for an extraordinary meal.
We started with the appetizer sampler, which was a feast for the senses. Every bite was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors—the hummus, and baba ghanoush were absolute standouts. It was the perfect introduction to what was to come.
The entrée sampler was equally impressive, offering a delightful variety of perfectly seasoned kebabs, tender lamb, and flavorful rice. Each dish was cooked to perfection, showcasing the richness and diversity of Turkish cuisine.
What truly elevated our experience was the personal touch from Executive Chef Dilber. He went above and beyond by crafting a special dish just for us. Not only was it absolutely delicious, but it also made us feel incredibly valued and appreciated as guests. His passion for cooking shines through in every dish, and his hospitality is unmatched.
The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible.
This restaurant is a gem, and we can't recommend it enough. Whether you're a fan of Turkish cuisine or trying it for the first time, this is the place to go. Chef Dilber and his team will ensure you leave with full hearts and even...
Read moreMy Mr and I came here for a Yelp event. Loved it so much that I had to bring my best friend. This restaurant don’t play. They definitely go all out for their customers. You know the saying, you get what you pay for. For this place you get that and more. You will leave happy and full. We started off with drinks. I had the Turkish red wine and my best friend got the white. It was so hard to choose so we decided to get these platters so that she can try everything. We ordered: Appetizer: -Appetizer Sampler (For Four People) Hummus, babaganoush, eggplant in sauce, labneh, tabbouleh, spicy ezme, stuffed grape leaves and pinto beans.
Dinner: -Chef's Mixed Grill (For 2 People) Doner, Adana, lamb shish, chicken, chicken Adana kebab served with vegetables & we picked the white rice
My friend was truly impressed with the meals. Of course my favorite is the lamb and chicken kebab. Especially dipping it in the yogurt. The appetizers hit the spot. All fresh ingredients and homemade. We couldn’t finish it all that I had to take some home. I know my Mr will be happy for the leftovers. So glad I came back. I knew it would be good . Such a great experience,. Service was excellent and can’t wait to come back and try their flatbreads and perhaps...
