Pet Supplies Plus Delhi — Attraction in Delhi Township

I am updating this yet again, the ferrets in this picture just sold after a significant discount. And a good what 8 or more months !!! So this would lead you to believe there is not a demand in the area. So why did you order two more to sit in a cage at the store for another 8 or 9 months ? Until you discount them so low that someone will buy them. If you continue to sell ferrets at a location they are not selling well at for 400 each then you may consider starting them out at the discounted price . That way they do not sit in a cage . They are very social animals and bound easy . It's hard on them to not have out time s few hours a day or be separated after months together... It's upsetting enough that I don't shop here anymore unless I have to 😔 and it's sad because I do love the staff at this store .

Update... The district manager reached out about my concerns. I stopped up today and seen that they were trying to make some changes to clean up the environments of the ferrets and fish... Ferrets had new beds 😊 and the one was up and moving around again and seems much happier. Thank you all for listening. Please keep moving forward by supplying them a pan to potty in ... And to the employees blood job on taking a step up on helping provide them with care and enrichment while in your care ❤️ .

.....Great store for buying dog and cat food and freeze dried food. Friendly customer service and staff is usually very helpful. Store is clean . Unfortunately the store is lacking in the care they provide as far as cleanliness of environment for their live animals especially the ferrets. Along with myself plenty other customers have made comments on the environment that the ferrets are kept in.yes they poop a lot ,I would suggest if they're not willing to keep the cage clean to possibly stop the sale of ferrets, as it seems they are already struggling on sales of these exotic pets . Also would be nice if they provided a bigger selection on treats and food for ferrets aside from just the Marshall brand.

Update .. the fish and ferrets are looking even worse I have reached out to corporate. I am sorry their care should come before anything else . I do believe there are some employees in the store who are doing everything they can to try to care for them and are helpful.

December update. they had cleaned the store up quite well and the ferrets looking really good even got to a point where they didn’t carry the ferrets anymore, due to the inability to care for them properly as these are exotics and need special care. Love, and behold, I went in and they got two ferrets again started off pretty decent and now they’re back and just not very good conditions. I would be depressed too and sleeping on the platform if that’s how my cage looked and I was an animal I’m going to add updated picture of the two new babies. if I can figure...

i've always taken my dog here to get his nails trimmed and never had a problem until a few weeks ago. the person at the desk had blue hair and seemed to be in a bad mood already. this person checked me in and took my dog to the back. My dog is exactly 11 pounds and usually only needs to use the electric dremel. when he gets upset, i have no problem when the employees have asked me to help hold him or calm him down.

While i waited, i could hear the blue haired employee screaming at my dog (who wasn't making any noise that i could hear) and slamming sounds. When they brought my dog back out, the blue haired employee was holding him by his RIBCAGE. literally was pushing their fingers underneath both sides. he was wiggling around and whimpering (my dog barely ever makes noise). the employee was making this disgusted face at both me and my dog. my last straw was the muzzle. the muzzle was on UPSIDE DOWN with the mesh part over his mouth and the solid plastic over his nose and getting stuck to it. the employee yelled at me (literally echoed through the store) to take it off of him because she didn't feel safe. Now i know i'm not an employee there, but if you can't control a dog you can hold in one hand, maybe you shouldn't have a job like this. another employee came out and said nothing to me but was speaking to the blue haired woman. i was terrified to say anything to them because i thought they'd hurt my dog more. TAKE YOUR DOGS...
