I appreciate you responding but not with false pretense to make yourself look good. You say you try to be accommodating to guest but the whole interaction I had with your team was the least bit accommodating. And your statement on the waiving the master fee for a refill is inaccurate because this was no refill. I didn’t need a refill. I had paid about $150 the day prior including my membership and master fee and tip just to have to come back less then 24 hours and have to spend more money to fix the problem that was refused to be fixed all in the midst of staff being rude about it. No accommodation at all.
Long review but important to know.
I Was impressed with this place at first and then was disappointed with customer service due to an unpleasant experience.. I’ve used GiGi as my tech the past three times I went there. She did great all those times and I had no complaints. This last time I went, I had to push my appointment back because traffic held me up. I CONFIRMED TWICE over the phone if it was okay to push back appointment. Receptionist said “yes it’s okay. GiGi has no one behind you so it is okay”. When I arrived , they asked me to sign a form pretty much stating “Due to being late, we are not responsible for any errors due to the shortened time.” now according to the staff AND their website, master techs will complete your lashes in 45-60 mins. I was 30mins late, so technically my allotted slot time would only allow 30 mins to complete the job. every visit I’ve done with GiGi, she completed my lashes within 60 minutes, just like the ones she messed up on. so obviously they either weren’t taking that policy seriously with the time frame OR she had the extra time, right? So I and can agree with that, and Before I signed, I double checked what they meant by that “like if she only does one eye, I have to walk out with one eye done and that’s it?”.. the receptionist laughed and stated “she’s a master so she will finish, don’t worry”. She CONFIRMED everything will be completed in enough time. So I signed. When I go home that evening and look, my eyelashes were horrible. So thin and looked like she didn’t do anything to them and that they needed to be filled again... I call in the morning and they say, our policy is to charge you your package. “I stated “so when your tech doesn’t do a good job on lashes correctly, I have to use my package to fix the damage?” She stated how I signed the form so they’re not responsible... I stated to the receptionist multiple times “I UNDERSTAND that IF there were NOT ENOUGH time then I get what I get and I can agree with that. Fair is fair.. But the fact that she completed it within the standard time frame, like she ALWAYS does (and even asked do I want fuller lashes which requires more time, which she obviously had and was willing to use if I agreed to get fuller lashes) then the problem WASNT that there WASNT enough time, but that she just happened to do a bad job that day.. they didn’t care about any of that. Just the fact that I signed that paper, forcing me to either pay out of pocket or use my package. I’m disappointed that they wouldn’t just own up to the mistake that was made. I simply asked to just fix the problem and that’s it... end result was I used Beth, who did an amazing job by the way, and used upmy last package to fix the problem. The receptionist were snarky and unaccommodating during all this and I ended up canceling my membership. As stated before I agree with dealing with unfinished work if your allotted appointment time is interrupted due to being late, but to have deal with your lashes JUST because your tech is having a bad day is not justified at all. Read moreMEMBERSHIP WARNING/TAKE AWAY BENEFITS WHEN CANCEL/ UNHAPPY makes it as if you never had any member they way they upcharge you on the way out. I’ve been visiting this location since January and recently their true skilled masters left. So I’m paying a master fee for $30 on a “new master” (ask how long they been a master for all these fees ) and I tip $20-25 dollars on top of $79 membership price. I had my last service five days ago with a new lash artist. I was told that if I had a problem with the retention to call back within 72 hours. Never been told that . The entire time I’ve been coming here, I have not had an issue with the retention so I reached back out because I thought I was getting good customer service. When I spoke to the manager , because now that it had been five days and my lashes are gone that was acceptable versus three days, and my lashes are gone. I never complain and I always tip well and I expect the service that I’m paying for. When I expressed to the manager that I was upset about this and I wanted to cancel the membership , she was more than happy to cancel my membership immediately. No I’m sorry let me make this right . I can offer you something like this instead. She goes on to tell me OK I’ll send you an email. It looks like you have five credits left. She said you have 90 days to use your five credits and instead of your services costing $79.99 , now they’re gonna cost $99.99 and instead of your master fee costing $30 is not gonna cost $40. She did not care at all about how unhappy I was.. even though I’ve been coming there and spending money without any issue. The first time that I’m unhappy, because they’re trying to advance new artist , they did not care. They were eager to cancel my membership and just collect their money. Call it a day. Make sure you realize that it you are unhappy, or are ready to cancel your membership this is how they treat you. The branch in Wellington also closed so BEWARE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY WILL STICK TO THE FINE PRINT - ASK HOW LONG THEY’VE BEEN A MASTER . I’m ok with letting people learn but look how they treated me. What could of be said to calm the whole situation was I’m sorry you’re unhappy. I can’t give you the 72 hour touch up but here’s what I can do. That conversation never happened . There are plenty of other lash artist that you can support instead of this corporate when customer service should be present , instead the manager tells me the owner is in another country , never tried to fix it and hung up on me. NO LOYALTY . Just find an artist and support her. They have problem w holding on to good employees also because the way they’re treated . Read moreI just moved from NJ to FL and it’s too hot to wear makeup down here so I thought I would try to get my lashes done for the first time ever. There was a promotion on FB and IG that showed $20 off your first set of lashes so I booked and appointment. When I got there they said they don’t honor that coupon. I was still excited to get my lashes done for the first time so it didn’t really matter to me in the moment. I feel so bad I forget her name but the women that did my lashes was super sweet. I got the classic in the style cat eye. The whole experience was super relaxing I fell asleep during my service. My lashes looked so great and very natural just the way I wanted them too! I also had my eyebrows tinted and waxed and they also turned out great! My total was $135, $175 with tip. At checkout the receptionist told me next time I get my lashes done it would be $169 for a fill and that I should join the membership so it would only be $129 monthly and the membership includes 2 fills. I thought that doesn’t make sense because the extensions are supposed to last 6 weeks so why would anyone need two fills a month and why would something I paid $100 for cost me $169 when I come back again? Regardless I left the salon super happy about my new look. I followed the instructions the women that did my lashes gave me to not get them wet for 24 hours. After my first shower half of my lashes came out. I can’t believe it I’m so upset. Now I see why you’d have to go twice a month because they don’t last at all. I’m literally in shock. I don’t use any oil based products and I did everything the women told me to do. I was so careful with them.
EDIT - I was invited back to Amazing Lash for a free set of lashes after my first set did not take. I appreciated the personal phone call and time to make me another appointment free of charge.
