I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the customer service I received at the T-Mobile store located in Delray Beach on Federal Hwy. I did email the manager to let him/her know about my experience however I never got a response. I visited the store specifically because I was instructed by an online T-Mobile customer service representative to come in to change the primary account holder on my account.
Upon approaching a salesperson who identified herself as SiSi, I explained my situation and the instructions I had received. Instead of offering assistance, Sisi suggested I simply call T-Mobile, completely disregarding the direction I had been given. When I reiterated that I was told to come to the store for this specific task, SiSi stated that she could not help me and told me to use the T-Mobile app. When I understandably expressed my confusion and asked why she was being so unhelpful, SiSi's response was shocking and unprofessional. She stood up and stated, "I have the right to refuse to help you," and then proceeded to walk away, leaving me standing there without any assistance. While I did eventually manage to get some assistance and resolution by calling T-Mobile support later, this had absolutely nothing to do with the in-store service I initially sought. The dismissive and outright refusal to help from Sisi was unacceptable and a complete waste of my time. Her behavior was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude and unprofessional. My experience with Sisi at the Delray Beach store was the worst customer service interaction I have ever had. While my issue was eventually resolved through a different channel, the lack of assistance and the unprofessional conduct of this particular salesperson left a very negative impression of this store's customer service. I visited recently (4/2024) and met Sway. Knowledgeable and very polite. I appreciated Sway's professionalism and laid back demeanor. He knows the product. Because so, I was confident with my decision! AND .... John, another salesman that I was very impressed with as well. Although John didn't assist me, I did notice his AMAZING tolerance with two VERY difficult customers (I visited 2 consecutive days). Holleeeee-cow! They were horrible, and John still provided excellent customer service. Sway and John are both great TMobile representatives. TMobile should be proud!
(3/2023 review below) Visited this TMobile location about a week ago and met with Darron. A great guy and very knowledgeable. I had a ton of questions and was nervous to switch carriers. I couldn't of asked for better customer service!!! TMobile is VERY lucky to have him. I have peace of mind Darron will be there for any questions or concerns; if any. This is a really nice location and lots of offers to take advantage of. I did my homework with the top carriers and found I got the best deal for an individual plan. Great price on a new Samsung phone, a shorter contract and better savings in the long run.    Read moreThe person that helped us, I believe his name was Connor and I apologize if that is wrong or that he would rather I not use his name, but he was very helpful. Answered questions. Very patient. There were few other guys there as well, and you could tell by their demeanor that they were polite and respectful. In buying a phone, it's a big decision, and some in the past at other phone stores, have tried to push their opinions and although the employees usually can make a good choice on the merchandise by asking quick questions especially when there are a lot of customers. But, I want to leave knowing I got what I wanted, not what someone thought I would need. But, everyone at this t-mobile was polite. However, Connor..and again I hope I got name right has been the best I've dealt with at any store and he helped my son and myself. Also, the location of this T-mobile is perfect if you're in area...or not. It s right next to good food, a lot of places to shop right across the street. So you can do more errands in one area if you need to purchase a new phone etc. Also, we went with the internet service that is offered in our area and I was a bit worried that our internet would be slower...but its great. Same as other, but half off what we were paying and easy to get running. I'm glad we went...
