I have been to this place a few times and every time that I do I keep saying that I'm never coming back and I finally stopped... For a few reasons! #1 they are too expensive for being a thrift store! I can find better prices at Ross or TJMaxx for items that are BRAND NEW! They don't do the weekday discounts (according to color of tags and the day nor do they do the 50% off on Saturdays!)) like all other Goodwill's do! I even contacted their corporate office in the springs to question this and they insisted that they do use this policy! Wasn't gonna argue with the guy on the phone.. I mean after all .. he's all the way in Colorado Springs so ofcourse he KNOWS they do! #2 the workers are rude and not helpful at all and most days there was only 1 cashier working! So the wait time to stand in line was ridiculous! God forbid you ask them for assistance should there be anything behind the registers (I guess their high priced shoes or jewelry, perfumes) that you're interested in!
#3 I didn't care for the way they organize their stuff! I felt it was just too much work to have to search for your sizes cause nothing was in the correct spot according to the sizes on their clothing and shoe racks!
I gave them 2 stars, one for their merchandise, they have some of the better quality and selections in their stuff but WAY overpriced and one because they never give me a hard time about having my dog. He is my emotional support dog but I do suffer from PTSD BADLY and they are aware of this...
Read moreI have been shopping at Goodwill since 1995, I have even worked for Goodwill, this store used to be beautiful, clean floors, clean dressing rooms and lots of things to choose from. The last couple of years this store has become a pig sty, the floors are filthy, the dressing rooms are beyond nasty, they haven't been painted in years, the employees never clean the floors in the dressing rooms, if you drop something it come up covered in dust and lint. The bathrooms are the worst, trash baskets full of used toilet paper, floors covered in used paper towels with that trash bin overflowing, water on the floor in front of the sink, the floors filthy, no place to hang your purse, because there are no hooks in the stalls and you do not want to sit in on the floor. When you walk in the smell almost bowels you over, put some air freshener in the entry, please! I am very disappointed in the way this store in run and kept up, it upsets me to see the way it is now. I still shop there and donate there as well, but it is getting harder and harder. The cashiers are friendly and do a good job, but they could really use some backup when the lines get long, they rarely call for back up and I very seldom see a manager unless she is called to the front. Hope somebody from Goodwill reads this and makes some...
Read moreCompletely agree with all Customers like NM and B and many many others who left store forever! All staff here is very rude, very ignorant, very disrespectful. Clothes terribly used and old because neither good stores nor good Customers want to donate here any more, a lot of dirt, dust and mess everywhere. The store which was very good before turned into the garbage pit because of very bad assistant to store manager Veronica who is killing the store since day one by her rudeness and terrible attitude to Customers, very evil personality, absence of even minimum knowledge of what Customer Service is, awful diction, low level of English and very bad work ethics. She destroyed the store completely and has been continuing doing it every day by keeping rude, evil, ignorant employees just like herself starting from !supervisors - the most ignorant of them, the most unprofessionally acting and the most disrespectful to Customers are Thomas and Matt - both protected by Veronica, and finishing by very aggressive woman with red face and unbrushed red hair who works hanging clothes in the hall and acts towards Customers so that she is either constantly drunk or mad. Big shame to have such employees in the store which had really great employees...
