Modern Midstay — Attraction in Denver

Perfect for two people working remote and our large dog! We've been traveling the entire year and this has been our favorite spot.

Work: We swapped the desk and the dining table's spots, which let us use the TV as a monitor. There was enough separation with both of these spots, so we were able to do meetings at the same time pretty easily. Also, the outdoor furniture on the patio was a great work setup (picture below).

Dog: The little backyard was great and we spent countless evenings playing fetch. Carla Madison dog park is walkable and there's another bigger one that's a five minute drive. City Park is literally two blocks away and was one of my favorite places to take the dog on a walk (picture below).

Activities: Denver has some of the greatest concert venues in the country. Red Rocks and Mission Ballroom were my two favorites. I ended up going to 7 concerts this month! For food, my two favorites were Watercourse Foods and Pepper Asian Bistro.

My husband and I with our dog had a great stay at this City Park apartment. Our priorities when searching for a mid-term stay were: workspaces for both of us, centrally located/reasonably walkable to some restaurants, safe area, and near a park to walk our dog. This apartment checked all of those boxes. On top of that, the property managers were excellent and very responsive to anything we needed. It did get a quite warm during the 100 degree heatwave while we stayed, and they ordered an extra fan for us to help. I’d be mindful of this in the summer. The apartment gets flooded with beautiful natural light, but the flip side of that is it heats up fast! We felt safe and had no problems living and working from home here for 2 months. Being by City Park and all its activities was great, and it was no more than 15 minutes to get anywhere else we needed. Street parking was also available within a block of the apartment at all times. We enjoyed our time staying at this 2 bedroom during a kitchen remodel. It is clean, with modern furnishings and a very caring and communicative host. The kitchen is small — but totally met our needs and had all of the basic cookware. Keep in mind that the 1 bathroom for the unit is inside of 1 of the bedrooms. The unit has ample storage with a large closet in 1 bedroom and a regular closet in the other and storage units are available. The free basement laundry is very clean and bright. The package delivery works great in the mailroom and residents are kind to move packages to a table indoors that is locked. This unit is right off of gorgeous City Park — running trails, walking paths, playgrounds, lake, museum, zoo — a Denver treasure. It’s also across the street from Denver East High School and the school traffic wasn’t an issue at all. The heat is provided by radiators that make normal noises.
