Scandinavian Designs Furniture — Attraction in Denver

I absolutely loved my experience with Scandinavian Designs and highly recommend them! My entire customer service experience was top notch- a goal that’s harder and harder for a company to achieve in these covid times. I ordered my table and was told it could take a month to receive but was delighted to be called the next day and informed that another order for the same table had been cancelled and I could gone pick mine up! Nita provided the utmost professionalism and knowledge of the product line and was able to direct me towards pieces that might work for my needs. I never felt pushed into a sale or judged for feeling a price was out of budget. Unfortunately once I had my table in place I decided the finish wasn’t the right color for us. Nita informed me of when the other colors would be available, ordered my new piece and they let me keep the one I was returning until the new one arrived. As with many shipments this last year, my new table took way longer to arrive than was thought. Nita kept in touch to ensure I knew my table was still on the way and when the time finally arrived that it could be delivered she contacted me to schedule. I don't normally write negative reviews, but I felt the need to for this store. I had ordered a coffee table, book shelf, and two ottomans. Regarding the coffee table, I was told that because we would be buying one straight off the floor, we would receive a 15% discount on i. However, that did not turn out to be the case; when I asked the sales rep about it upon returning, he said that "It was wait 3 months and get a 15% discount, or buy it off the floor for the full price" when I remembered specifically that is not what I was told. Also, the coffee table came with a scratch on it already! Regarding the book shelf, I spent a good number of money to get one, but when putting it together, it turned out to have shoddy holes and I had to improvise with it; that is something that I can expect from a bookshelf at Target, not this type of store. Lastly, regarding the ottomans, I had specifically told the sales rep which two that I wanted; when I returned to pick everything up, he said that "One of them is not the one you wanted, but the other one." Was it too much to ask for a specific freakin' ottoman? I spent too much money here to have sketchy customer service, damaged "new" furniture, and I will not be returning. Which is a shame, because they have a lot of nice things in the store; the first experience...

This has become the WORST furniture company in the world. The ordered a set of office furniture in May 2019. The day before delivery I got a call fro the salesperson, William, at the Denver store that he had ordered the wrong pieces and not all of the pieces were coming the next day. I contacted the store manager and the regional manager about the errors. Then William was to order the right pieces and get them to me in a couple of weeks. The day before delivery I get another call that he still didn’t order the right pieces, but that they would scramble for a floor model on one, but had the other tall bookcase When the items were delivered the floor model bookcase was fine, but the tall bookcase was damaged in 2 places and I refused to accept it. They were to order another tall bookcase but this time I’ve heard nothing. So, I now have doors for a tall bookcase but no bookcase. I’ve had to contact the regional manager 3 times about these problems, but they are still not corrected.DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL There are multiple other retailers in Colorado and on line with the same quality and in home assembly.
