Tons of options for things to purchase. Cheese, soaps, chocolate, palisade peaches, toys, meats, candles, clothing, and tons of food (food trucks and stands). The only thing we weren't able to find was a dog treat tent - which probably would have made great $$$ because there are lots of dogs at this farmer's market. Our pup had a great time and got to meet lots of friendly dogs on our walk through the farmer's market. If you're bringing your dog to this, please take note that the whole thing is on blacktop... Which gets really hot really fast. I'd recommend coming at 9am (although sometimes the blacktop is already starting to heat up by that time) and have something to protect your pup's feet or prepare to carry them. Luckily, today was overcast and in the 60s so we didn't have...

The location is only a ten minute walk away from the Louisiana-Pearl light rail station though, so I’d recommend ditching the car for this trip. You’ll also want to come earlier in the day because a lot of the booths will be out of ingredients or sold...
Read moreThis farmers market is awesome. They always have the best vendors. And you can always show up on Sunday morning ready to eat and drink. We had the best oatmeal cream pie EVER. Completely vegan by the way. You would never even know the difference. The best bread, bagels, produce and sunshine. MY ONLY GRIPES, are the people who bring the giant strollers through the market. Leave those at home. There are way too many people and they always walk in the very middle at a snails pace taking up half the street. The other gripe is dogs. It is supposed to be a no dog event. I have 2, I understand bringing your animals places. This is not that place. No one pays attention and most people have those fake service dog harnesses on...
