2nd Restaurant Review 1/12/2025
This was our second visit to the restaurant, and the food was absolutely phenomenal, just as we remembered. The flavors and presentation were top-notch, making it a truly enjoyable dining experience.
However, I was a little disappointed that after mentioning a few times it was my husband’s birthday, it initially didn’t seem acknowledged. Thankfully, Ryan, our server, saved the day! Ryan went above and beyond, grabbing a candle and a few thoughtful touches to make the moment feel special. Their effort truly stood out and turned things around for us.
One suggestion I’d like to make is for the manager to walk around and check in with guests, as you’d expect at other upscale restaurants. It adds a personal touch that can really elevate the dining experience.
Overall, the food was excellent, and we’ll definitely be back again. A special shout-out to Ryan for being amazing—we’ll absolutely request to have them as our server for future reservations. Thank you for making the night memorable!
Special note to our server:
Dear Ryan,
Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make our evening special! Although this was our second visit to the restaurant where a special occasion—first our anniversary a couple of years ago and now my husband’s birthday—wasn’t initially acknowledged as we’d hoped, you truly stepped in and saved the day.
Your thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and warm personality made all the difference. The candle and little touches you added were so thoughtful and truly appreciated. You turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a memorable one, and we can’t thank you enough for that.
We will definitely be requesting you for our future reservations. Your exceptional service is one of the main reasons we’ll keep coming back.
With gratitude, Our family.
2 years ago: Made reservations for our anniversary and no mention of it, though it was noted when I made the reservation.
Drinks and food were absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the pecan shrimp as a starter.
My steak was a touch cold..
It was busy last night & the waiter did mention they were short staffed & getting their asses handed to them. Made sense as to why the waitstaff kept accidentally delivering food to the wrong tables.
Loved sitting upstairs. It’s kind of like a high end bar feel. Giant tv screens & a nice patio.
Good vibe overall Don’t be surprised if you have a tiny surcharge...
Read moreI hate to give new restaurants such low reviews but at the same time my dining experience was so very disappointing. I am a true foodie and love to go to new restaurants. The decor is so so I can't say anything exciting about it as I do not remember much. The wine menu was small and very hard to choose from. I was dining with my boss from out of town and another work colleague. I had read great reviews and was excited to try the restaurant. I shared my boss and colleague that the reviews talked about the chicken fingers which I found amusing.
I started with a white wine, my colleague a wine as well and my boss skipped alcohol all together. We looked over the appitizers and chose to go for salads and mains instead. Our waiter was informative and highly recommended the chicken fingers talking about the home made sauces and the amazing fries. We settled on the Cesars Salad, 2 orders of Chicken fingers (the waiter said the where so big my collegue and I could split) and a side order of brussel sprout slaw.
The salads came out first. The presentation was nice, but nothing special - romaine leafs arranged on a plate with little chucks of toppings and dressing drizzled over it. The taste was very mediocre. No great garlic or anchovy flavor unfortunately. Nor where there any wonderful chunks of parmesan cheese. Definately a disappointment! The brussel sprout slaw was a bit of the same - nothing special. Shredded brussel sprouts and to be honest I can't even remember what else was in it . It was far from exciting.
The big disappointment of the evening was the chicken fingers. The menu talks about brining for 12 hrs. Being dipping in tempura batter and panko. The chicken fingers were so heavily crusted you had a hard time finding the meat. There was no flavor to the crust. The dipping sauces did not excite were you wanted to keep dipping either. I was totally shocked. All 3 of us were. Our take home bag was almost our entire plates. I think we all ate about 1/2 of one chicken finger. TOO MUCH CRUST and way to heavy. Panko and tempura are both light so you would imagine it to be light but they were far from light.
The fries with the 6 spices were good - I will have to say that. They did get the crunch right on that - no...
