United just flat sucks. Every single flight I have had with united in the past two and a half years has been a disaster. This is why I have 90,000 miles on American in that time period. When I go against my better judgement to save my company money, I regret it. If you want a very high likelihood of getting stuck for an overnight stay in some random place because the pilot wants to fly around a storm, run out of fuel, land in Kearney, Nebraska where the airport was closed, the airport manager taking 3-4 people at a time to the hotel in a pickup truck. Choose United! The Superstar Alliance. Update: Paid extra for a window seat at the front. Since my previous flight was delayed 2 hrs I got downgraded to row 35. At least this flight is also delayed! Update2: same flight. Now we are deplaning because the captain refuses to fly this particular plane. B737-800/900. They are looking for a new plane for the captain. I legitimately feel like my life is at risk flying United.

An amazing facility that trains some of the best aviation professionals in the business. There is no public access here but inside are state of the art simulator that train United pilots to be the best and well prepared for anything they me need to encounter and become sucessful.

A deep and detailed tour of life as a Pilot in training to fly at United Airlines! Mind-blowing experience and I feel safe knowing the requirements United requires of their pilots! Cheers to my boys and their journey to becoming pilots! This experience was invaluable.

Today has been the worst airline experience of my life. I was booked to fly from MSP-DEN-HNL today and experienced several instances of incompetency, rudeness, and poor business ethics.

First, the MSP-DEN leg, the flight attendants forced over half of the flight to check their luggage. Upon boarding, it became obvious that there were dozens of open spots for suitcases and about a dozen more could have been opened up by turning the bags 90 degrees. The flight also departed quite late, causing several individuals to miss their connections. The flight attendants did not step up and lead a coordinated de-planing which would have expedited some individuals making it to their connection on time.

The flight attendant did not perform the descent check on this flight and thus several passengers landed with seats reclined and tray tables out! Unsafe!! The pilot flying also prematurely goosed the brakes, which resulted in 2 overhead storage bins flying open and 2 passengers (again, not wearing seat belts due to lack of descent check) jumped out of their seats to slam the bins closed.

Once in Denver, the leg to HNL was delayed initially in 15 minute increments, then for 3 hours when the captain finally decided that after 2-3 hours of troubleshooting the “technology issue”, as he described it, he determined that it was unsafe for ocean travel. This was AFTER every single person had boarded (and if you recall, half of our luggage down below). It’s poor practice to have passengers board if the jet is still broken and a fix had not been identified! In aviation, we call this get-home-itis, and shame on the aircrew for being disrespectful of the passengers’ time.

The flight that was initially delayed several hours eventually got cancelled. I spoke with an employee at the United Lounge West (disgusting curry wraps, RUDE bartenders, filthy food areas and even nastier bathrooms). She assisted in booking me a hotel (a very low quality one called Quality Inn) and getting me on a next-day flight that added an additional connection. My condolences? Two $15 food/drink vouchers that, combined, will not pay for an airport meal. The final kicker? No assistance with hotel transportation. I will spend almost $100 in Lyfts getting to and from my terrible hotel.

I demand to be compensated with a travel voucher for a minimum of $1000 to cover my meals, taxis, inconvenience, and most of all any continued interest in using United in the future.

Worst of all, I was told they “don’t have the manning” to retrieve luggage from the plane. I realize this may not be a United problem… but what the heck? There’s an entire career field...

Our vacation was coming to an end, and we had a return flight with connection from Denver to Rapid City SD. While still in Orlando, they were having maintenance issues and due to the long layover period we missed the connection flight from Denver CO to Rapid City SD. When we landed in Denver we were 5 1/2 hours past schedule! Our flight was supposed to leave around 12:23AM. We landed in Denver around 7:40 PM. Attempting to find any knowledgeable and competent United airlines customer service member is near impossible. Extremely rude, and did not listen to what we were saying. The first Customer service rep we found had no idea what she was doing, then a very rude male customer service man came to assist her and was no help to us at all! Would not help track down or request a spot to pick up our luggage. The man wanted to put us 3 on a stand by list for possible flights, and when explained that it would not work as there is three people in our party and that we would rather find a rental car, he became rude, ignored us and walked away from the counter to leave just the female we had originally started with. We did find an amazing customer service person who listened and helped us track down our luggage, put the request in for our luggage, let us know where to go to pick it up. She also pointed us in the right direction of where to go for car rental information. She was the only one within the whole United Airlines customer service area that was helpful and respectful. We called the number given to us in line to contact over the phone to either find a new flight leaving the next day, or to receive a refund. That call lasted over 35 minutes with nothing accomplished. We were told to go to the app to request a refund because there were no new flights available. Will never fly...

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Security manager was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I needed access to the roof in order to start and complete the task I was there for. The badge I received was unable to grant me access. I proceeded down to the main office/visitor check in point when I came across the “security manager” (short bald guy). He asked if I had a badge and I replied yes and showed it to him. He then said I had to have it visible at all times. I agreed and walked away toward the main badging office. The security manager followed me and as I’m talking to the security guard about getting a new badge the security manager again came up and asked if we had a job here. I replied yes again and with an inconsiderate he said “not any more” and he ordered the front desk attendant to take or badges away and escort us off the premises. My work partner as I were confused and stunned. I can honest say I have not be treated with more disrespect after being completely polite and...
