Was having a good experience taking my fiance for her first time playing 18, and the first Starter on duty at hole 1 was amazing. Once we finished the 9th hole we were back at the start. There was a new Starter on duty, the old crusty, short guy with a mustache. As we finished the 9th, he sprinted towards us and began to yell at us for pace of play. Throwing his hands in the air, and shouting. It was competely out of line, utterly unprofessional, and felt totally confrontational. We were at most 15 minutes behind, but a single warning to get us to pick it up would have sufficed. Also, we were losing our 4th golfer after the 9th hole, so we knew it would pick up pace.
Instead he continued to berate us. After a few holes, we actually managed to gain some ground to the point that the group behind no longer had to wait. However, We just couldn't get shake the thought of that incompetent imp schreeching in our faces. As a result, our day was so ruined, we had to leave after the 14th hole.
It was my fiancé’s first time doing 18, and it’s crusty old bags like that starter are the exact reasons why people are hesitant to try golf in the first place. We knew pace was in issue, but was trying our best to keep it up and felt rushed the whole time. There were times we we were also waiting on the tee-box for the group ahead of us, so we really were moving as quickly as possible. I question if we would have gotten the same treatment if everyone in our group was Male.
Advice to the starter- we get it buddy we need to pick up the pace. 1 warning or reminder is enough. You don’t have to get in people’s faces and shout to get a point across. You’d think spending hundreds of dollars to play would come with a little leniency. It’s people like that starter that bring out the worst in golf and make people not wanna try it in the first place.

Read moreI played here today on today. The golf club is ok for what it is, cheap, but its also kinda of akward on the last few holes, you're pretty much playing golf in the traffic, few feets away from a busy road. You're responsable for the damage you cause. My big problem was with the Golf Club rental part. I paid 50$ for a set with 11 clubs total. I didnt have time to pratice and I realized at hole 1 that the club were not lefty like i asked.
Then I got a lefty bag, with a Inverted drivers for the second time. I couldnt exchange it as they made me loose all my free time. So i played the first half with no driver and a plain beat down wood 3. (See pic)
After the 9th hole i came back, they did give me the club i paid an high price for. I spoke to the same person who made the two errors and she told me she would speak to the manager.
When I went the guy I had seen after the first 9 hole said " I cant do anyyhing" i'm not aware.
So i paid around 120$ for a day at golf with missing/broken/inverted equipment, they knew their error ( the lady seems sorry for real) but

Read moreI’ve been playing this golf course for 30 years and it is a great track. This review is for the Pro Shop staff yesterday. I’m being kind with three stars because it’s just two individuals(woman and man). I booked a foursome tee time guaranteed on my credit card, and I was running late. The other three players informed the Pro Shop, but when I showed up two minutes before my tee time. They had sold it to another person. They were belligerent and rude when telling me this. Saying that yes I had to pay for the tee time but they had the authority to resell it. I have never heard of such a thing in 50 years of golfing. This is just crazy, and what’s worse is the attitudes. Fortunately, the golfer was there and forfeited his right to take the tee time I paid for. Posting this to warn others of this policy, and provide feedback for Wellshire management. You should be...
