Hot Springs Park — Attraction in Desert Hot Springs

This Park is Beautiful, but the city is NOT MAINTAINING it well at all!

The drinking fountain, that should be allowing our visitors to taste the wonderful, healing, naturally chilled mineral water from our underground aquifers, is OUT OF ORDER, covered with GRAFFITI, and the back is covered with a loose sheet of plywood.

And, who designed this fountain? The thing is full of non-galvanized, iron-based metal strips in full contact with water that are RUSTED and CRUMBLING and STREAKING ugly brown streaks.

How can our citizens be expected to take code enforcement and the clean up crews seriously when we can't even keep our public city landmarks from falling into disrepair.
