Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Detroit

I booked my birthday party here, was my first time and I had a wonderful time. From the planning of my event up to the day of, Patrice was wonderful. She was attentive, accommodating, and always responded to my questions promptly. I was looking forward to meeting her, and she didn't disappoint. Krista was our moderater/instructor and she was fabulous too. She explained everything in detail to us, she was attentive to the "newbie" cuz the rest of my party were veterans....I mean that to say they had all been there, done that before.... and she had a pleasant personality. The atmosphere was nice, as well as the location. It was nice to have the sunshine beeming in on us. It was 70 degrees out and we had the door open and could see and hear all the people and cars going by. I had an amazing group of people that came out to support me on my birthday, in which I am grateful for, because they ALL could have chose to spend St. Patrick's day elsewhere, but they chose to hang out with me. The food was great, the music was great and the wine was plentiful. I couldn't have asked for more. Would I recommend this location, absolutely. Will I go again, most definitely. Had to cancel because I tested positive for COVID and did so with more than 72 hours in advance, which is their cancellation policy. Left a voicemail and an email and didn’t hear back from them until I contacted them again and said I would call my credit card company if this wasn’t fixed. Pretty frustrating that it took that for them to take action. When I heard back I was told that I shouldn’t be contagious anymore after only being sick for a couple days and that I should be fine. Ridiculous customer service. Won’t give this location my business.

Update: Waited more than a week after they told me I’d get my money back in 2-3 business days and had to file a claim with my credit card company. So much for getting my money “on time.” I don’t doubt they have amazing teachers, but customer service is...

I had an amazing experience! Neo was our instructor, and he was incredibly patient, kind, and had a fantastic personality! I took my friend out to celebrate his birthday, and it was his first time painting with a twist. I was a bit anxious because we got caught in traffic and were running late. When I called to inform them, Neo reassured me that it was no problem and that he would help us catch up. That really meant a lot to me, and he followed through, which made the experience even better. Just a little note: you don’t need to drink wine to enjoy this lovely activity.
