Iāve come into office max several times to print and never had an issue. However today Jaylin, the female employee who was working at the printing desk was ridiculously rude and unprofessional to my friend and I.
So I signed in at 5:10pm. After waiting a few minutes in line we tell Jaylin that weād like 3 things printed on standard paper. we specifically mentioned several times that we wanted whatever the cheapest paper is but in a larger size than a standard sheet. So she confirms our copies and says shes going to print them. For the next 45 minutes, yes you heard me, 45 minutes for a print, she proceeded to help literally every other customer that came in. Shes taking them ahead of us and printing their stuff in less than 5 minutes. Shes answering questions, the full 9 yards of communication with every other customer besides us. We stood there for 45 minutes until we finally asked when our stuff would be ready. She says āone secondā and literally prints them immediately... so she had us standing there for no reason. Then we go up to the desk to pay, and weāre irritated but weāre not gonna say anything. She says āthe total is $51ā. My friend asks āwhy is it so much? Its never been that high beforeā and she just side eyes us and shes like āthats just what it costsā. So my friend asks āno but again, why is it so high?ā. We found out itās because she gave us poster board paper instead of regular paper like we specifically mentioned several times in the beginning of this process. So we ask ācan we just redo this but with the correct paper?ā And she stares at us blankly. At this point other customers are staring and its very uncomfortable. So we say āits fine lets just cancel itā and she throws the posters in the trash and says āyouāre free to goā after all of that.
Morale is, I hope that if you plan on getting some things printed from this store that you happen to come while Jaylin is not working. She made us and the other customers around us extremely uncomfortable and wasted a chunk of our day.
Iāve never had to leave a bad review for a store and complain about an employee, I try not to be a Karen but this was ridiculous and needs to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAll my flyers are trash, not professional printing service. I printed my flyers there twice and trashed those flyers twice. The first time the young guy and the young lady were nice and reprinted them, finally I got what I expected. The second time I ordered online and paid for thick papers (100lb glossy paper) which costs more, but that kind of paper was out of stock. They printed my flyers with lower quality paper (80lb glossy paper). At least I should have received a text or phone call about that. I am a student and just wanted to print them for my school project. As a requirement, the flyers must be at least 135gsm but their papers were thin. I was not happy at all when I saw my flyers but I thought that I would try to use it, did not want to make it big deal, we all make mistake sometime at work. However when I got home, realized that all my flyers were not aligned on both sides after I cut the white margin. It was waste of money and time (almost $2.00/flyer for both sides with glossy paper) to bring trash home.
TO THE STAFFS: I HOPE YOU PRINT ONE FIRST AND CHECK IF IT IS OK BEFORE PRINTING MANY OF THEM. THAT WOULD SAVE CUSTOMERS' TIME, MONEY, ALSO SAVE YOUR SUPPLIES, AND THE...

I am white. Actually Hispanic, but I appear white.
Literally the only white-looking woman (or person) in the building.
I was completely ignored while other customers later in line, behind me, were served. When it was my turn the associate took a phone call, refused to look at me, and would not answer a simple question for 7 minutes. After I'd patiently waited in line for my turn while others that arrived significantly after me were served. There was literally not another customer to be served in the print area before i was addressed. I was ignored until I was the last person in the print area and the associate STILL stayed on the phone and even LEFT THE BUILDING instead of simply asking what I required.
I needed a notary. It is advertised they offer notary service.
The denied me the service.
It's obvious racism exists. I would never have ignored someone of a different color this...
