3/20/2023 UPDATE Okayyyy! I have continued to visit in spite of my complaints that I gave a month ago. I have changed my rating from a one star to a 3 star. I no longer am having the sneezing "fits" that I had started having when I would leave the facility. For that, I'm grateful. Furthermore, the women's restroom is not as stinky and humid as it was. There's still much room for improvements, but at least I'm noticing attempts at management trying. Kudos.
*UPDATE * Originally, I gave this location a 4 star rating, which is fairly good for me, being that I rarely give any place 5 stars. Whoever is over Onelife Douglasville needs to get their arse in this one a.s.a.p.! đ€ I live in Villa Rica and joined the Carrollton facility originally. Being that I work in Carrollton, I have utilized that one quite often through the years. Yet, being that I live closer to Douglasville, I was ecstatic to be able to use a franchise that's only a 10-15 minute drive from me. I have also visited the big franchise in Newnan (nice). I don't know what the heck it is, but something in the Douglasville building is causing my allergies to act a straight fool when I leave from there. This only started probably about six months ago. I don't know if it's due to mold, lack of air filtration, unsanitary conditions, or WHAT, but something is not right. I have NEVER been one to have allergies. I still occasionally use the Carrollton location; no issue. I walk outside, even with recent elevated pollen counts, NO ISSUE. Used the Douglasville location today, 2/17/23 and I have been freaking sneezing for the last four hours. As a PAYING MEMBER, I am asking the franchise owner or their higher ups to PLEASE do an inspection of the air quality and cleanliness of this particular building. I surely don't want to assume the ole race card issue, but you all are beginning to make me believe that, especially reading the more recent reviews of the place. What gives?! (Original comment) My only complaint (for now) is the lack of exhaust in the women's restroom. Nine out of ten times I go in there it's stinky and humid to the max! I frequently use the Carrollton facility and have never...
Read moreSharing an email that I sent to the management team of Douglasville and member services.
I am writing this email to express my disappointments in the Douglasville store, as it has increasingly gotten worse within the past couple of months and has especially tanked since the new year. The video I have attached to this email chain was taken yesterday around 3:30pm. It speaks for itself, that this is absolutely disgusting and unnecessary. What you see in the video is just a fraction of the gym. The overall cleanliness of this location is terrible. The bathrooms are NEVER clean, and when I say clean I mean there are chunks of hair, dust, trash and dirt all over the floors at all hours of the day. There is pee on the floor. And at some point last year there was even poop on the floor in the women's restroom. I've come to the gym first thing in the mornings, middle of the day and evenings. No matter the time of day, it's filthy. Upon walking into the gym, you're immediately hit in the face by terrible odors (body odor, sweat, chlorine from the pool). I understand those may be things that are out of your control, but if the overall AIR FLOW and cleanliness of the gym was kept up, that would eliminate a lot of the smell. For a while I saw a cleaning crew that would walk around the gym and somewhat maintain the gym floor, I have not seen them in a long time. What can be done about this? Why has management not stepped in and made a change? The employees working the front desk; are they not responsible for maintaining the gym? This is a staff issue. No other Onelife Fitness is like this. I am beyond frustrated about this. I look forward to working out every day, but as soon as I walk into Douglasville Onelife I cannot stand being there. Something...
Read moreChanging my review as this place has gone downhill IMMENSELY since I joined over a year ago. I thought it mightâve just been the beginning of year excessive crowds (everyone wanting a New Years resolution), but realized itâs just the way this place is being run. The place is absolutely gross. Nothing is being cleaned. The past few weeks, the station cleaning supplies have not even been refilled (all the bottles are empty and there are no sanitizing wipes left). Donât understand why they donât just have large tubs of sanitary wipes like other gyms have but instead have these useless rolls of paper in buckets and spray bottles that are usually empty (not easy to use = no one ends up using them). The bathrooms are gross. Sauna gross. Hot tub gross. Machines have trash left in them (some literally have had the same trash the entire month). Floors are gross. Like I am so appalled by this gym right now. Hoping they step up the game otherwise I will be cancelling. Donât want to work out in a nasty place. Not to mention, the place is packed during nearly all opening hours now. If you donât like a lot of crowds I recommend a different place. Hoping the crowds thin out when these people give up on their New Years resolutions.
â ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Great facility with modern enhancements like the movie workout room, sauna, saltwater pool, smoothie bar and even the equipment itself. The place makes me want to keep going back to work on my healthier lifestyle, unlike other places Iâve been in the past. Very clean and stylish place to work out with a great staff. Cyrus is an...
