Srishti actually deserves less than one star. Srishti was rude and unwavering in her response to me when I asked to change my booking, even though it was a week in advance.
I paid $150 on August 24, 2025 to attend a pottery class with my teenage daughter. We were both looking for a way to escape from our everyday lives and we were so excited!
On September 6 , 2025 (two weeks after my original payment), I asked to get an alternate date for the future because something else came up.
I didn’t even want a refund. I simply asked for a different date.
Srishti was unwavering in her response and was more concerned with policy than being a kind human and keeping a potential future customer.
I was actually shocked when she was not willing to provide another opportunity . She refunded me $65 out of the $150 I gave her two weeks prior. Does that seem fair?
Here is her response –
“You’re eligible for a 50 percent refund - I can’t help further absolutely process that.”
Does that sound like somebody who wants to stay in business. I guarantee she’s out of business sooner than later. Shame on...
Read moreWhile the wind chime class we took was ok (best part was hanging w daughter and her friend and mom) It was overpriced for what it was - only allowed 5 small pieces in cost of class and they don’t supply any twine, etc to make actual chimes nor direction in how to assemble. Toilet wasn’t working so had to use Starbucks up the street. When washed hands after class I asked if they had had any towels /paper towels to dry hands and was told rather curtly ‘no you are supposed to bring your own!’ Odd. And was not mentioned when signed up. No phone number to reach anyone when we had question about registration. Five weeks after taking class we were given only 3 dates (all of which were over spring break when out of town) to pick up our pieces. When messaged about picking up or projects earlier than listed time was told we could not and needed to pick up on the dates/times provided only. There are better art studios who are more accommodating - Michael Symber, Elmhurst Art Museum, do it together studio all in Elmhurst are just a few that come to mind and...
Read moreI have taken a single wheel throwing class, a jewelry class(for my mom’s birthday), and a six week hand building series class. I cannot see an end to the classes and workshops, I am SO in love with this ceramics studio. You will be treated warmly, encouraged, and you will be instructed by a seriously talented teacher and artist. I recommend just trying it. There are SO many options for one day classes. But I warn you, it’s addictive. The studio is beautiful. You feel like you are about to create something special when you walk in there. Not to mention the GORGEOUS gallery of work on show and for sale by the talented owner and teacher. I am a big fan of this business. Don’t hesitate. UPDATE !!! I’m on my third hand building series class and Srishti has coached me to build things I could NEVER imagined I would be capable of doing in just a few months time !!!! She works with you where you are and helps build skills necessary to achieve your vision. This studio is AMAZING and the owner is pure magic. I would give 10 stars if I...
