Nags Head Hammocks — Attraction in Duck

We had been interested in buying new porch furniture / a hammock for a couple of years, and we knew Nags Head Hammocks was the only place to go. We visited the Duck location while in town this past summer, and the two employees in the store couldn't have been nicer! They were very helpful, friendly, and answered all of our questions, let us test out anything and everything to our heart's content, and also gave us print outs of what the cost would be for the items we were looking at. We came back the following week on our way out of town to buy two porch rockers. Again, the employees were helpful, friendly and a pleasure to work with. The whole process was as smooth as could be, and we walked out with our order placed and excited to receive our Durawood Classic Porch Rockers (we opted for the Turquoise color!) with matching, attachable cupholders (which are very roomy). While there was a slight delay in receiving them, it was worth the little bit of a wait - they look gorgeous on our new front porch, and they are by far more comfortable than our old wooden rockers. I bought a hammock from Nag's Head Hammocks back in 2008 as a present for my wife. It was delivered to our home (hundreds of miles away) and was easy to assemble. It's been a mainstay for many years, enjoyed by all the family.

Recently, a very large oak tree fell on it. After having the tree removed, I was shocked to discover the hammock was perfectly OK.

How DARE Nag's Head make such excellent hammocks that they survive being hit by a tree? Where's the shoddy workmanship, the cheap plastic parts, the worthless trash I'm so used to!

Seriously, if you think about buying a hammock here, it will literally last for years. It may get dirty but you can rest assured it will survive trees dropping...

Susan at Nags Head Hammocks displayed the best customer service to me. I purchased my double dog leash while visiting the OBX. When I got home and walked my dogs with the leash I realized that one of the clips was not working properly and was unclipping from my dog's collar. I reached out to the store with my dilemma and without question, they assisted me with shipping the leash back to them, made me a new leash with the desired clips I wanted, and sent it back to me.
