The Mystic Jewel — Attraction in Duck

I’ll give this place two stars because they had a good selection to choose from, but the customer service was horrible. We drove 25 minutes to visit this shop while on vacation today and the lady working in the jewelry section was very condescending and rude to my grandmother that was looking to buy a new ring. She stated she didn’t know her exact size but she was looking for one and the employee said “well we have a lot of rings but I can’t show you anything without a size”. Okay understandable. Once she said a size she thought would work. The lady huffed and puffed about grabbing it, finally did and then when that size didn’t fit she continued with more smart comments. My daughter and I have been visiting The Mystic Jewel for several years. It is one of our favorite places! This lovely store is full of beautiful things that will please your eyes and enrich your spirit. From the moment you enter the store (Corolla or Duck location!) you will sense how the owners have poured their hearts into their business. The items they sell have been lovingly crafted and curated, and the staff are always helpful and knowledgeable.

My favorite part about visiting North Carolina is buying crystals, this is by far the absolute best place to do your crystal shopping! They have everything, and the prices are AMAZING! I got a beautiful piece of malachite yesterday for $12 and they had so many charms from a large variety of polished stones set in sterling silver for under $10, to a beautiful incense collection.
