The arena itself was nice, however, several employees of this arena were not. I recently went to the Luke Combs concert at this venue in which I had bought pit tickets. Although when we arrived, we were not allowed to be in the pit because there weren’t any “wristbands” left even though we had the purchased tickets in our hands. We thought if we spoke with the manager of security there would be a solution to our problem. But Lloyd, the manager of security, was very unprofessional and unhelpful. Instead of sharing in our disappointment, he ignored us and walked away. After one of the security people allowed us in because he knew how frustrated we were we were very thankful, yet we were not allowed to leave. Eventually the bathroom was needed and when trying to go back in, Lloyd barricaded us out even though he knew we had purchased tickets. Several employees reasoning was that people were using others’ tickets to get wristbands but how is this our fault. We drove 7 hours through a blizzard to get to this concert and we were treated poorly and we were made to assume the problems we had were our fault. There was also much deflection from everyone within the arena regarding our concerns. Additionally, multiple security employees told us this is a frequent occurrence at events with no plan for resolution. Although it was frustrating we weren't allowed into the pit, we would have understood if it was a rare occurrence and they provided a solution, but instead there was only deflection and poor customer service. I will never return to this venue for a concert and will continue to share my experience. I hope the director of ticketing comes up with a fair compensation for our...
Read moreA bewildered archaeologist, a professor of antiquities and the arcane at Miskatonic University, thousands of years hence, is excavating the ruins of a grand colosseum on the shores of a vast inland sea.
He uncovers tapestries produced by an ancient and unknown culture. The tapestries have upon them the horrifying visage of a savage beast, yet with an air of nobility, apparently canid with a prominent mandibular prognathism. He sees at least two of these tapestries, perhaps many more, massive in size, woven in white with the ancient numerals and letters of that fated and archaic society by the sea.
The archaeologist glimpses in his mind the enemies of this elder race drowned in a fathom of blood; he hears the terrible canticle of an innumerable host singing of glories both desiccated and eternal. The words come suddenly, drawn involuntarily from his lips, issued at a whisper, heard only by the invisible horrors of that abyssal arena and the fading remnants of his lucid mind, "Banners hang forever..."
As the last vestiges of his sanity are ripped free, a sickly yellow light seems to fill the rancid air, and a ghastly choir with twisted faces and the image of the horrifying beast borne upon their chests reveals itself in the encircling canopy of moldering stone. This hideous host begins to sing lustily from their frog-like throats:
"In heaven there is no beer. That's why we drink it here! And when we're gone from here our friends will be...
Read moreDisappointed with the "security" recently attended a concert and they would continue it until they cleared people from the fire escape paths. No one would move or listen and security just talked and argued with them for them to not budge. Carried on for 30 minutes doing this and finally got the people to move after the whole stadium started chanting for them to sit down. Someone passed out in the crowd I get it, but they took forever to deal with it. If that person was seriously injured or having a medical emergency they should have hauled them out not let them lay/sit there for 30 minutes delaying the performance again. They need to be decently trained to handle stressful, argumentative visitors and somewhat medically trained like basic or what to do in...
