Burger King King connected to the Holiday gas stationwhere I filed my car. I was going to be headed out of Duluth for a 3.5 hour drive back home. It was very convenient. That is where the pleasantries ended. I kept my order SO BASIC. I ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers and a value fry. Let's start with the experience... the gal taking my order was nice enough but the credit card machine was not working. It froze up. NO ONE KNEW WHAT TO DO. So, I made the suggestion to just ring it up proper on the next register. No one took the the time to hear that suggestion at all. Instead she said that she could take my credit card and walk over to the drive-thru window and ring me up there. I did not appreciate the fact that someone wanted to walk off with my credit card, with the way life is nowadays with identity theft. So finally the lead woman came over, was punching in all kinds of things and ultimately completely disconnected the credit card machine from the counter and brought it into the back because it would not take off the charge that they were originally giving me at this counter. I did want the food so I ended up letting the gal walk off with my credit card and ring it up on the drive-thru register. That is why my receipt says drive-thru. But it was fully a dine-in experience. The lead did apologize about the mess it created. Now here's the food experience. The value fries were not hot. I am guessing because my order was filled and sitting somewhere while the mess was getting figured out. I did ask for fresh fries and recieved them with no problems. With the bacon cheese burgers everything was fine EXCEPT there was ONIONS on both burgers when there were not suppose to be. This is not an experience I care to repeat or have anyone else need to encounter so I left this review here. I hope it gives someone a good heads up before they go here. I hope they have...
Read moreI've been to this Burger King over a hundred times if not once. The Drive-Thru has got to be one of the slowest in the State of Minnesota. And people come through with these giant, or special order's I guess you really do have it your way at Burger King, regardless of the seven car back up, why they don't have them pull up or pull off to the side and let the rest of the people go, I'll tell you this for free, their cones or dollar chicken sandwiches ain't worth waiting, 10 to 15 minutes in the drive-through lane, and if you walk in, Bang guess who gets priority the drive-thru of course. Come on Burger King tried being the king of speed, or at least figure out something for those nitpickers that, don't want mustard or onions ketchup or some crazy thing and no salt on their fries no ice in the drink. And when those loyal customers that sit through those extended wait times they should be compensated for their time. Anything over 10 and it's free. As you can tell by this long rant, I've sat in those long lines a few times myself. Ain't that hard to figure out look at your competitors they have them pull up or pull aside to keep their drive-thru moving you can learn a lesson from them because that's...
Read moreWe went thru drive thru at 9:45pm on a Sunday night and got horrible food! We ordered 2 of the whopper meals with NO tomatoes! My drink was an unsweetened ICED tea. Wouldn’t you expect to have ice in it? Well hell no! I got warm tea and both whoppers had TOMATO! I AM ALLERGIC to tomatoes so there is a reason why we ordered it that way! So since I wasn’t going to be able to eat my whopper I thought I might as well enjoy the fries. Apparently they did not want to make fresh fries so I think that the only warm to the fries was they dipped them back in the grease! They were so gross! When you end up paying $20 for a meal from a fast food restaurant you expect a little pride in what you hand out the window... I pretty much threw out $20 because even the dogs wouldn’t...
