Recently renovated and getting ready for a grand reopening. There is now a paved series of walking/ running paths around and through the park. A new children's playground is located near to 3 new half court basketball courts. There are bathroom facilities and water fountains. At the south end of the park, there is a new frisbee golf mini course. There are also new picnic shelters with barbeque stations in the park. The stage area is still at the NE corner of the park, and a ring of trees have been planted to define the seating area. Read moreThe park is beautiful my children love it but it is not accessible to parents/people in wheelchairs instead of restrooms they have port-o- potties I am a parent in a wheelchair and I have a 2yr old and 4 yr old so for me I couldn't help my 4 yr old use the restroom she had to urinate outside I can not interact with my children in playground because of wood chips I can't push my daughter on the swing and/or run to her rescue if she were to fall and to top it off they do not have accessible parking they did not have our community in mind when they...
Read moreThis park has been recently revamped. The paved path around thr outer edge is smooth and varies in level to give your walk/run some variance. The park is smaller, but a park none the less. The kids seem to love it. There's a disc golf course, built in bag ramps (two sets) a basketball court, and a stage. Different events come through the park, including old timey war reenactments, carnivals, burger competitions, and fiestas.
