I love shopping at Aldi! My family has shopped at Aldi for years. In recent years, many locations have been remodeled and look wonderful!
Bring a quarter for your cart, and reusable bags.
The German imports sprinkled throughout the stores are awesome! I feel like everything is fairly priced and the quality/flavor ofAldi brands has improved in the 20, or so, years I've been eating them.
You can buy more without breaking the bank. Even some very unique products, some name brand products, and the staples. For instance, I believe there's sugar free options on coffee creamer, numerous flavors of coffee, at least 3-4 flavors of many products like (the equivalent of) nutrigrain bars, protein bars, fruit snacks, etc. Organic options in the produce section, and even many low-fat options on items like soup.
There's an aisle I call the 'random stuff aisle' where I've picked up Aldi-made items such as a standing mixer, tool-box bag, shelving, pet beds, rugs, seasonal items, sewing tools and thread, produce keepers, multi-tiered pot lids, a produce slicer/dicer... it goes on and on. These items change often. So often the that every other week I'm finding something new to marvel over. The prices are incredible and fair for many of these goodies, and I've found the quality to be decent and better than expected given the price.
Aldi stores have a generous hour range so we have flexibility during our evenings out running errands.
There's just something about being able to feed my family for half the cost of shopping at a bigger grocery chain. The smaller format seems daunting at first glance, it can feel quite crowded at high traffic times, but the layout is condensed and we find ourselves in and out with a full load of groceries in much less time than the big...
Read moreWent here looking for a holiday item for my sister, wasn't able to find it and the holiday area was hit or miss and scattered around. I asked one of the workers there politely if she could help me, first thing I noticed was the annoyed look on her face even with her mask on. I showed her the picture of the ad and she stated the item came out on 12/9 and looked at me like I was blind, I asked her simply if they came in before that at all and she said no. I understand that most people would overlook this as not a big deal however being a manager in customer service, I would not treat my guests this way regardless of the situation. It's not just words that people notice, body language, tone, and facial expressions can mean the opposite or your intentions. You would figure with what is going on in this world it would not hurt to have a little patience...

Despite operating on a skeleton crew at all times, the service here is top-notch. It's evident that management looks for positive attitudes when hiring. Even as the team dredges through endless customers, they manage to stay high-energy which speaks to their resiliency.
While many people come here for the affordable prices, what keeps us coming back is the service - which blows ALL of the surrounding grocery stores out of the water. There's no contest. I have no doubt in my mind that every employee here will go very far in their endeavors given how well they maintain this place.
Remember to thank these dudes. There's like five of them total keeping this place open and providing our community with...
