Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Dundee Township

My husband and I stopped at this Popeyes tonight as a post grocery shopping treat to ourselves and I now wish we hadn't. It was $32 for 2 meals and nothing about them was correct or enjoyable. The woman who brought our order to our car looked annoyed she had to bring it to us even though they made us pull around to the front in the first place. No hello, no have a nice day, not even a half of a smile. The lack of customer service I can overlook but the missing and incorrect food items on top of the terrible quality is what really sealed the deal on us never wanting to return to this location. A side of red beans and rice was missing, as were the dipping sauces for our tenders. We were given strawberry cream cheese pies instead of apple and regular tenders instead of spicy like we ordered. The chicken tender in the honey mustard wrap was so hard and dry it was inedible. The tenders in my husband's meal were also dry and clearly reheated rather than fresh. We didn't even get a real receipt with a total on it. They put the expeditor's ticket in our bag instead, which actually is kind of hilarious considering how wrong our order was even though it was clearly printed out correctly.

All I was able to get was a $6 refund out of this entire experience, so, 0/10 do not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else because there are much better options nearby than...

Edit-Want to make sure this goes for the right location in Carpentersville. NOT, I repeat NOT the location on Randall rd it is absolutely terrible.

This is the best Popeyes location around. Always accommodating. We love dark meat so when we get a 16 pcs meal for the family we order all dark. The manger told us to just call ahead and they will drop the chicken for us as it's a special order. Everyone is super friendly. There are 2 locations in our vicinity this one and the one on Randall rd. I always go to this one, even though this location is further for me to drive and I routinely sit in construction traffic.

AVOID! the Randall rd location at all cost! They are rude, have refused to all dark meat meal several times, you cant call ahead or complain BC either the phone is busy or no one answers. They say they close at 10pm but if you try to go anytime from 845 on they will refuse to give you fresh food and if it's not already made they wont make it for you. They routinely turn the drive thru lights off and close the lobby prior to 930pm and as I said if you can get in they will only sell you whatever they have left laying around at FULL MENU PRICE!

30 minute wait because of promotion. We were not buying promotion items, but the line could not move because drivers ahead were getting promotion items. It would have been nice if we were instructed to pull off to a spot, if we had an easier order.. We could hear them tell them they were out of pickles and the wait would be only 10 minutes (after sitting for 20 minutes already). I ordered a shrimp box, but ended up with 3 shrimp and a few pieces of popcorn chicken that almost looked like shrimp. There were no fries available for sides. At the window, our drinks were incorrect. They were scrambling around filling orders. The cashier was walking around with my change in her hands filing boxes and redumping incorrect orders. In the 30 minutes we were there, 3 people walked through the door, and only 6 cars were ahead of us. I could count 5 employees. It felt like they did not start each order until we got to the...
