Updating my review based on the fact that 2 times now I have driven 30 minutes here to get food and they were CLOSED! lights on, doors locked, no one inside all during posted business hours. I called several times and no answer at all, waited about 10 minutes and still closed, no sign or anything. Yesterday it happened again at 430pm on a Tuesday. Waisted my time and gas and now I won't be going back. I'll give an honest review here from my experience. I typically get boneless wings when I go out as it's less messy to eat so my review is based on boneless wings and fries only. First I noticed there weren't any good boneless wings combos to order from, the largest order is 5 wings and 3 shrimp but I wanted more wings so had to order it all separately. I got a 10pc boneless wings, fries and a can of pop. When I got the order I was pretty surprised by the size of the wings, they were small. They almost reminded me of chicken nuggets, not boneless wings. In comparison I would say they were half the size of wing stops boneless, not to mention a lot more expensive. The wings were all white meat and good quality chicken though. I got the sweet and spicy sauce and I will say it was amazing, almost reminded me of the mild sauce from Harold's chicken. For the size of the wings and look/taste of a chicken nugget the value just wasn't there for me. The fries were pretty damn good, they were a crunchy breaded type of fry, there just wasn't a lot of fries for the cost. Again the value for what I paid wasn't there but I did enjoy the fries. All in all for 10 boneless wings, fries, and a can of pop it was about $19. That's about 7$ more than Wingstop for the same thing with larger chicken and tons more fries. I will give them another try and go with traditional wings, cause that sauce was damn good.

OUTSTANDING, you guys rock!!! We drove all the way from Rockford at 1 AM maybe 1:30 before we got there and they WERE OPEN! YES, till 3 AM on Friday and Saturday nights if I am correct. WOW, the vibe was awesome, the 2 guys working were awesome, went out of there way for us. The prices were HOT, we got the 55.00 top choice for the 4 of us and had extra to bring home lol. The wings were fabulous, the catfish filets were HUGE, full filet and OMG the breading and seasoning made it all happen for me anyway but there was 4 of us, the filets were juicy melt in your mouth FRESH, and the shrimp was 2nd to none from what we are use to coming out of chicken places. Thank you two for making our first time a time to remember and we will start coming out 2-3 times a month from Rockford now and tell all our friends. I usually do not go that far but we are floored at this place and it's hours for us late night early morning fools lololol. Keep up the great work but please have our tarter sauce back in for our next trip. Thank You guys!!! Excellent. Oops, had to come back and edit, the SAUCES, OMG, the choices are unbelievable, we had the sweet and sassy I think it was, the bourbon something, and the mango habanero, all were awesome. WOW what a selection. Can't remember how many but more than I can count on both hands.

After a rough couple of weeks, I really needed a win — and Sticky Fingers in Algonquin delivered in a big way. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine Southern hospitality. We ordered fried shrimp, wings, and fries, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve never seen shrimp or wings this big. The homemade breading was golden perfection — light, crisp, and some of the best I can remember. The sauces were spot-on, adding just the right kick, and the fries nailed that magic balance: crispy outside, fluffy inside. The little touches here really add to the charm. A bucket of lollipops and a bottle of Frank’s Hot Sauce sit on every table, and the décor gives the whole place a playful, welcoming vibe. Their canned soda selection is a nostalgic throwback — every flavor I loved as a kid — and the staff was so attentive and warm. Big smiles! They truly care about your experience. Prices are very reasonable, and the daily specials make it even better (Lobster Sundays, anyone?). I even overheard other diners promising to return — and same here. I told the staff to get to know my face, because I’ll be back often! Four more words: — Banana pudding. Caramel cake. 😮
